It's no good, I have to confess, in a moment of weakness I counted up those lovely golden coins - was trying to leave it till start of school hols - and was more than pleasantly surprised to discover 158.00 :j and tonight was given another in asda :j

Can I join the club??
I want to save my £2 as we are hoping to emigrate in about 11/12 months time, but its all dependant on having the money to do so!
I got a £2 yesterday....first one in ages so i think this is going to be a slow process....but im willing to give it a go!!

Wow, Greenfingers - what an incredible amount we're saving as a club (I bet you never thought your original post would inspire something so huge, did you?! ).

A big thank you for all your organisation :T - it must take you ages each week to update the totals :eek: - but it really is a boost of encouragement when you see it all written down like that...

I am also clearing my purse out on a regular basis of all the other rubbish that I get so the purse is lighter but the piggy bank on my desk at work is heavier!!

I reckon I will have deposit sorted by the time I'm 35!!!!

Have 2 at the moment so back up to £4 - although I keep nearly spending them by mistake when I get them! Have to hide them away from my wallet!
