Couldnt last, I had to crack the tin when it was just half full - £240 - yay - unfortunately needs must and it will dissappear on debt.! But £240 is pretty good, wasnt expecting that much in such a short amount of time!0

Wow, Kev, £240 is great! :T How long had you been saving for?
Look on the bright side - £240 off your debt is a big step in the right direction, and you've managed to do it without denting your bank balance or crippling your monthly paycheck!

Hi all,
I would love to join the £2 savers club! Please can I be added and also get advice on:
- Is Pigsback.com the only place I can get a free saver-vessel? I don't want to spend money on a piggy-bank as it defeats the point....
- Can I ask how do people know how much they have saved - do you check each day? And isn't that too tempting, handling the cash all the time? I think it may tempt me...
- Are all of you paying the £2's every month to gain the best interest, or waiting until piggy is full?
- There don't seem to be many £2 around, so this begs the question a) can you cheat and add £1 coins and b) if not, can there be a £1 club?
Alot of questions, but it's because I'm eager to do it for our upcoming mortgage!
Thanks and I'm so excited I'm off to change my signature now, in anticipation of my next £2 coin...

I think alot of people are making their own piggy banks so you don't have to buy one. something out of paper machie (sp) or a sealed up jar
Every time I get a £2 coin I put it into a seperate compartment in my purse and then and put it straight into my a savings jar when I get home and I update my signature on here.
I bank the coins into my savings account normally once I have £10 or £20 so I get a bit of interest.
I don't cheat as such but I do ask if I can have them in my change rather than £1 coins. There is a forgotten, nay almost forbidden word which means more to me than any other. That word is England.
