Still haven't got a £2 coin but thought I'd put it on my sig anyway, to motivate myself! So, here goes...

Yippee, it worked! Think some kind of spreadsheet would be great but don't want too much work for greenfingers!

 You can still be in the club, we don't discriminate on the basis of wealth :rotfl:

Greenfingers will add you to the list and you can put it in your signature to motivate yourself.

  • Perhaps on the last day of each month we start a new thread in which we all add our totals so far, eg, "£2 Coin Club February 2006". Then you could just go through the one thread for each months spreadsheet, rather than having to go through several threads or one mixed hotch potch thread?

I received two today so I have officially started my collection! I was going to buy a terramundi - but when I saw that they were £16.50 I decided against it!:wall:

Good idea! Bit like we have a new spending diary thread each day, keeps things simpler!

  • I think the hard thing for me about a £2 coin pot is the habit to use it for the end of the month i'm-out-of-X-and-can't-wait-for-payday little bits & pieces. I did manage it mostly last summer, but the £80 in the tin went in august on a sudden expense.
Still wish I could buy a TARDIS instead of a house!

jaybee - if you buy a terramundi through prezzy pox and use their £5 voucher, it will cost you 14.90 incl postage.

frugglewump - thats exactly why i bought a terramundi....so i CANT spend it on little bits and pieces lol

But what would you have done about the sudden expense without your tin ?
It's a (small) safety net and can be used as such without feeling guilty :)
