I remember my dad did this years ago when the new £2 coin first came out. He literally had a box which was taped up at the top...when it came to holiday time, we emptied it out and there must have been at least £500 in it!0

I don't think people realise how much actually builds up! I worked out that if I filled one of those large plastic Coke bottles (like they sell/used to sell in Wollies) It would hold (no joke) - approximately £10,000!!!!0

Nor have I. The trouble is that I'm really tring hard not to spend anything and if I don't spend anything then I'm not going to gaet any £2 coins in change!!! I expect I'll be way behind everyone else on this one!0 -
