I've been saving £2 coind ever since they came out on & off.

I've been thinking today - it's less to do with the amount adding up and more about the coins themselves. They make a nice BIG pile that looks like treasure and the tactile sensation of the coins is much better than the silly tiddlywink 5p pieces etc.

I'll shut up wibbling now

For those who need help creating a signature for displaying your £2.00 Coin savings, log on as normal then scroll to the menu bar:-

1. Click - User CP
2. Click - Edit Signature
3. Type your text into the box
4. Edit, set font size, colour as required
5. Add a Smiley too if you wish....
6. Click Preview Signature or Save Signature
7. If previewed and ok then click Save Signature

Easy Peasy….

Just found a great money box that one of the kids got years ago from Halifax.

It has save 4 it on it. and shows the amount you have with lines to give values. The £2 stops at £40 so will now transfer to savings account when I get to that level.

Holds:

£2, £1, 20p, 10p, 5p

Cannot remember how old it is but as my kids are now 18 and 22 it must be a few years old.

Have now decided to hijack the OH's saving of the other coins.

Has anyone else got one of these money boxes?

Oh got another one at work so now have 8 which equals £16.
