    I'm back - and now DH is away. I'm still doing a meal plan because I am much happier when I know what I will be cooking (and otherwise I might not bother!).

    mon - leftovers from yesterday (beef in lemon/orange sauce)
    tues - spaghetti with olive oil, chilli and garlic
    wed - bigos
    thurs - spicy kidney bean soup
    fri - grilled steak or escalope, HM wedges
    sat - tortilla wrap or quesadilla
    sun - chickpea/chorizo stew with brown rice
    mon - fake nasi goreng

    I will probably eat at neighbours' one evening, but won't assume!

  • Eeeek Im late as have been away for the weekend -Just had a rummage in the cupboards / fridge

    Monday - Tofu stir fry
    Tuesday - Lamb Casserole and HM bread (From freezer)
    Wednesday - Veggie Sausages, chips and beans
    Thursday - Turkey Curry (From Freezer)
    Friday - Out on my leaving do so will be crisps and red wine!
    Saturday - Pork something in Slow Cooker
    Sunday - Spag bol I think.

    Lunches - HM spicy Parsnip soup / Borsch / cous cous with what ever veg I can find. Bit lame but start new job on Mon and not too organised.

    Making pitta breads and taboulah for Fri lunch at work for my leaving `Fuddle` which seems to have taken on a middle easten theme for some random reason?

    I've decided to jump on the meal planning thread bandwagon, if you'll have me! we were away all weekend so from Monday we're having:
    Mon - Roasted root veggies and pork stew
    Tues - Veggie rissotto
    Wed - Broccoli, caul and leek pasta bake
    Thurs - leftover stew and dumplings
    Fri - away
    Sat - out for sil b'day
    Sunday - Chicken stew and mash - comfort food for my hangover

    I'm making carrot and butternut squash soup to use for my lunch every day and breakfast is uaually weetabix

    tuesday- fish in white sauce,with mash (used up bits and bobs from freezer)
    wednesday -omelette and baked spuds
    thursday - chicken and veg
    friday - chicken pie
    saturday - lasagne
    sunday - meal out (with Tesco vouchers!)

    Monday – Quesadillas with hm coleslaw
    Tuesday – Cod, hm potato salad, spinach and baked cherry tomatoes
    Wednesday – Jacket potato with beans/cheese
    Thursday – hm Tortilla with salad
    Friday – Roasted vegetable (courgette/red, green & yellow peppers/cherry tomatoes/onion) pasta bake with garlic bread
    Saturday – Pizza, hm coleslaw and salad
    Sunday – Carbonnade de boeuf with mashed potatoes and veg (carrots/broccoli/peas)

    Breakfasts will be cereal/porridge with fruit.
    Lunches will be soup or jacket potatoes for Mr P and salads (including couscous/pasta) for me.
  • Monday - Kitchen Revolution rich beef stew (two extra portions in the freezer)
    Tuesday - cauliflower and broccoli cheese (freezer)
    Wednesday - pizza and salad
    Thursday - pasta and pesto
