I don't have a recipe as such for my favourite thing to cook.
I make pitta bread (using the recipe that came with my bread machine).
I then make felafel, but with no recipe - I "moosh" together chickpeas and spices and sometimes a little egg or flour or tahini - fry them up.
Make a really spicy chilli tomato sauce, using onion, chillis and a tin of tomatos, cooked and then whizzed up.
Serve with salad and yoghurt. Yum!
It is a bit of a faff, admittedly, so I don't make it very often - its quite often a summer sunday dish, when I have plenty of time. I do occasionally use bought pitta bread, but they are always dry and nowhere near as nice as homemade.0 -
I like fish pie - it's a wonderful dinner on a cold Winter day

Frikadellen, Red cabbage, sauerkraut and apple sauce with some pan fried potatoes0

My failsafes are
Fish Pie
Cottage Pie
Fajhitas.
I'm trying something new tonight - chicken breast stuffed with mozerella and wrapped in Proscuito, with stir fried veggies and maybe new potatoes, with a morrocan sauce with the chicken (jar) - What do you think??
I have read to stuff the chicken and wrap it in ham and fry on each side till golden brown (4-5 mins each side) and cooked throughout, but i'm scared of burning the ham and the chicken not being cooked in the middle!!Trainee Wakeboarder, Fashion and celebrity devotee!0 -
