    Morning all,
Didn't sleep well so gave in and got up at 5am, I've made a list of things to do, cancel papers, program sky, pay bills, finish ironing, start packing, blitz downstairs, empty fridge and clean. I've got next 3 days dinners in the freezer so meals are sorted.
I must buy some new reading glasses, I'm still using the broken ones that I taped a cocktail stick to as half the arm snapped off.
BM is on and WM finished.
DD1, DGD and DD2 are coming for the day on Monday, we're off Tues a.m.
Looking forward to a lovely day but don't like goodbyes. DD2 is worried incase she is early and will go into labour whilst we are away, she's having a home birth and wants me here. Wish we hadn't made a mistake with the holiday booking dates.
Oh well, off to get the vacume out and make a start.
    Hope it's a good w/end for all.

    Morning all,

WMF - I am exactly the same as you, struggle to get out the door when I am at work but the weekend comes and 8.00 DING wide awake. *So* frustrating.

My Mum has a job interview at a stately home this morning, and I am going with her so that I can have a mooch round the house. I hope she gets it, it comes with 2 National Trust passes so we can go to all their attractions free!

Will bake some cake later ready for next week. I am going home tomorrow lunchtime :(

ETA: I have hurt my neck again. It has been very good since I've had a memory foam pillow, even better since the addition of a memory foam mattress. I think carrying the shopping round with me all day yesterday has not helped

    Morning all,

Ohh I wonder if we have a bargain baby yet :T , i hope everyting is ok x

Had a bit of a bad night was very restless, so might need a nap later, we are supposed to be going to friends tonight for nibbles and drinkies, I will have to see how I feel.

Any hoo, washing machine is on with first load, another two to do today, think I will hang it out its cold here but not damp.

DD is off out with her dad today, so Little dog will have a nice long walk, I will have a quick tidy through, and put away yesterdays washing, and that will be about it for me :o , I dont do an awful lot of house work at the weekend, I like to do fun things instead.

    Hugs to all in need.

Halight you are delightful, your posts always bring a smile to my face x

    Take care all xx

Hi I'm new - an I join in?

Busy day for us - as soon as we get our rears into gear we will walk down to the market to get fruit and veg for the week, then I'm off bag packing at ASDA with my sons' footy team today so will have a little look for bargains even though the online shop is coming tomorrow.

This afternoon Ratatouille is being show in the village hall for free so my 2 year old is having her first trip to 'the movies'.

Hoping to get some sewing done at some point too - making duvet covers from antique sheets I've been given and a curtain to stop the draught in our hall.
