  • I have had a look but I wonder if anyone knows when the points on herbal essences finishes, it is the only range that does not annoy my scalp but have been ill last few weeks and not made it out.
Not overly bothered by the points if I can find it for a good price!
    Thanks

Somebody I work with used to work in boots, she was saying she was in broadmead this morn and speaking to one of the staff she knows and they have got asbestos in the upstairs celling and thats why it is all blocked off. They are supposed to be moving some tills about also, maybe we might get some SS tills( we can live in hope) had given up listening by then as she goes on a bit so aint got a clue which tills they are moving.

Yes I was told there is asbestos in the ceiling so whilst they are re-arranging it all they had to block it off. I asked today about SS tills and the SA was horrified at the thought!!!! She said they weren't getting them!!!! Lots of AC machine there now - they are breeding I think!!

I get what your saying but everyone is having to wade through pages & pages of chat for very few grabbits. Its starting to turn people off the grabbit board. I think that if a thread has been specifically created for chat we should agree to use than ( I'm as guilty as ayone but I will do this from now on )

Hope this doesn't offend just how I see things

yes we need to go to the boots refugee pages to chat :A

Not 100% sure but I think it ends today, same as the Pantene.

Well theres still loads of HE about in every store I've been in the past week, all in old packaging. A SA told me yesterday they would start reducing to clear all the old packaging style bottles as from today. I didn't make it back there today, but the nearest Boots to my office still had clearance HE today. The original 100 points on any HE runs out today, but another poster has said they've seen another card in Boots running the same offer from tomorrow (ie 28/1/09). Guess we'll just have to wait and see what tomorrow brings there :D
  • Thank you guys, I can live without the points but would love to grab some whilst it's cheap, still using the TS but my poor scalp hates it!

My scalp was bad recently so I treated myself to some Urban Retreat Scalp treatment shampoo - expensive but really helped.

I've seen alot of these at similar reductions as well in 2 stores but not 3 others, so I 'm still looking ;)

Well worth looking out for minimoneyme as they don't go off ;)

For a few minutes when I was Googling for items not found on Boots dot com, I thought I'd struck gold when I realised that the Mavala was on 75% off as I knew where there was some of the corrector seen here in the last picture:

    http://www.richardjohn.co.uk/mavala-products-in-nails_nail-accessories_view-all.htm

 An obvious misprice lol .... and back on topic ;)

Most of the Mavala (and Seki - check those out when you get a moment :)) were 75% off too. The Sally Hansen and nails inc. etc were mainly all reduced as well, but the nails inc was also in Superdrug for 49p for base coats and top coats, so worth shopping around. hth x

  • hi folks again havent been on for a while have been poorly with this bug everyone seems to have but my gp said its hit me worse due to chemo. I will be interested to hear about the 75% off accesorise people have mentioned as i am arranging a pamper day at the hospital on a day of treatment to attempt to give evryone little needed boost whilst there (do you think this will be good idea?) and obviously if i can get the bits cheap it will be even better lol:p so if you see them reduced in exeter stores i will send my dp to fetch lol

That's Ridiculous - doctrs surgery!! They seem to trial all sorts of stupid ideas in broadmead. I seem to remember years ago they had soom sort of beauty treatment rooms and a special 'mens' treatment area. Obviously didnt last long! Dont think many people want to sit in a busy city centre shop for 'pampering treatments'!!

Peterborough is having a doctors too
