    Hi all

Hope it is ok to ask here. I bought two sets from boots the st tropez sets for 11 pounds each here:

    http://www.boots.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?storeId=10052&productId=121466&callingViewName=&langId=-1&catalogId=11051

Anyway I bought them at last minute did not have a clue what they were. Anyway I dont have a clue who i can give them to right this moment. And im not sure whether to use one for myself or not.

Was just wondering one of two things:

1, Are they any good tanning?
2, Would anybody be interested in one if its ok to offer on here. For 11 pounds (which i paid) & P&P if thats ok.

    Thank you :D
Proud mummy to 3 beautiful children who I love so so much :oxxxx

Baby girl due april 2016! cant wait to meet her. xxx

think alot of the clutter recently has been 'me too' type postings to do with the sale and .com. I know it is tempting to post this kind of thing as if you were in the room with someone but it does make the thread pretty hard going !

Also the quoting of posts can make it awful long too...............maybe we can all think before we quote and perhaps put a reference in the title line as a clue to what it is about!

Saw a pile of these on a shelf near the skincare in Peterborough. No sign or anything about minimum spend . Maybe you ought to get them price checked? I got one through self service........................;)
  • Hi lhrgirl :) I do have a Costco membership, but won't be able to go to my local until middle of Feb. If you could just let me know how much they cost in Costco, that would be fab and I can get some when I'm home.
I'm catching up so might be a repeat on what has already been said, a big tub of them is about £12.00 (B4 vat) they are by kirkland signatures but the same as Jelly Belly ones, I had them as wedding favours ( I am not at all traditional:p ) and they are yum, the only thing is they don't have the flavours on the tub. xx

Also Home Bargains do a tub called jellystones they are jelly belly mishapes and they are 99p for what you would probably pay £4-£5 for in Jelly Belly's

It just shows how closely Boots monitor this site. IMO it is much more closely than before:confused:

Someone? posted only yesterday that the Sony 4GB USB pre-loaded with "Catfights and Spotlights" from Sugababes was still greatly reduced (£4.xx) despite there being no sale on. I put one in my basket. Today it is showing up as £17.49.

The wall have really big ears lately   For any newbies who were not already aware of this, please note. The more something is talked about the faster it is fixed.
Shame Mr B is not so quick at sorting out problems on his site that favour the customer for a change, like disappearing Health Club details, generic errors and the sale.

POLLS I managed to get one for £4.99 got it as I thought it was cheap:o , if you really want one let me know

    Perhaps there's a need for 3 threads.

Grabbit board- CPG's sticky, with only posts about offers/glitches spotted. Nothing else at all.
Shop 'Til You Drop - The Bootsing Thread. Post your daily shops in here, along with any comment on items.
    Refuge Thread - Congratulations/Commiserations/I've Lost Weight/etc....

The problem with this is that if you've got a thread just to post bargains/glitches then it makes it easier for everyman and his dog to spot them, which will most likely result in more 'Have you seen so and so on ebay...' or 'People were clearing the shelf.....' type posts.

You can structure it all you like, but you'll still get non-regulars posting in the wrong thread with "When does the xx% sale start?", "Whats a xxx?", "I can't be bothered reading xx pages, can someone tell me xxxx?". Unless there's a blanket ban on replies, then whatever thread they get posted on is going to go off on a tangent.

I personally like reading the daily shop posts, as it inspires some truely creative thinking. SandraScarlett's whole days of tripping round London getting bargains galore make me smile. PrincessWoo setting out 14 or so different shops for the day ahead have me amazed. I doubt I'm alone.

What I hate is the sour grapes attitude of some posts. Not everyone has a divine right to every offer/glitch. It winds me up when I see people posting  smileys just because they've been to a store and they didn't have a certain offer/glitch. Its swings and roundabouts. You don't get something this offer, someone else won't get something next offer.

hi this is my first post but i hope i can bring some good mentions of products and things to these posts.
one quick question re boots posts, what are 250 pts coupons? im always shopping in boots and dont know what these are?
    many thanks

On some items, like No7 gift sets or gwp's (Gift With Purchases) there's sometimes a 250 points voucher enclosed. If you keep reading, you'll soon know where to find them and what to spend them on. hth :)

(AB_KW I'm blushing :o:D lol, but back to the thread ;) Will anything be added to the Christmas wrapping paper, bookends etc? tia x)

Soory, being thick now and you've confused me with this one (not really hard to do!) do you mean will they come down in price any further? do we stock bookends?

If anyone lives near Taunton they had some old No. 7 GWP today (a pink box with a lift up lid and a drawer in the bottom with various minis inside). They were selling these for £3.00.
