Broadmead, Bristol has a large area that has been 'walled' off and when I asked today I was told they were have a doctors surgery within there. It's not that large a store but is the main one in the centre and this seems like a complete waste of space. No doubt they will be cutting back on the amount of stuff they sell there.
No pantene sachets there today and no cheap HE. There were a few bits of reduced stuff on the men's toiletries section but nothing spectacular!!0 -

If anyone lives near Taunton they had some old No. 7 GWP today (a pink box with a lift up lid and a drawer in the bottom with various minis inside). They were selling these for £3.00.0

Some reduced accessories that I've bought pre-sale, mid-sale, and around about nowYou'll have to copy and zoom in unfortunately, but these items were all 75% off and even more off in some cases.
I don't think it's exclusive to any one store (which I might have hinted at in above posts) but I think these will be reduced nationwide eventually.
Most of them did last year. Hth someone and hope this worksx

That's Ridiculous - doctrs surgery!! They seem to trial all sorts of stupid ideas in broadmead. I seem to remember years ago they had soom sort of beauty treatment rooms and a special 'mens' treatment area. Obviously didnt last long! Dont think many people want to sit in a busy city centre shop for 'pampering treatments'!!now has her .com delivery but doesnt know where to put it0 -
In a way i think its good the chat debate has been raised again as hopefully in the process it will clarify some things for the newbies who haven't had the pleasure of our previous (and numerous:p ) chatgates.
People should feel free to talk about anything boots related on this thread:D The problem with this thread is that MrB is well aware of it and reads it. So if a glitch is posted, you can bet it will be busted within a short period of time. Hence the previous suggestions about limiting the repeated postings of such glitches. Nobody is telling anyone what to do, but its important that peeps know this and can post accordingly. In the past posters who have made complaints to CS have even had their posts on here quoted back at them:eek: Thats how closely these threads are monitored.
I personally think peeps could think more carefully before posting about certain glitches. One recent example is the huge amount of posts about how many GWPs people have got for "free". A gift with purchase is exactly that, a gift you get for free because you bought a particular product. We all know however that certain ones will go through the till for zero without any purchase, and if you're lucky enough you can take advantage of it. But please do so discretely, both instore and when you post about it afterwards. I cringe when i read posts on here about people who state they have gotten loads of them through a manned till without buying anything else. All that does imo is alert the SA's and possibly prevent the next person from taking advantage.
Its also worth pointing out that no matter how hard you try you will not be able to benefit from every offer and glitch, and i think the the 75% off sale is proof of that. If you think you are entitled to every bargain and glitch that comes along your heart will be quickly broken. It really is swings and roundabouts with Boots and imo thats the attitude you need as a bootser. The positives far outweigh the negatives at the end of the day and thats why so many people stick with bootsing. I think its great to see so many new posters on this thread and please don't think i'm preaching. This is just my opinion on a few things and a few thing i thought peeps should be aware of.:starmod:C'est la vie:starmod:0 -

Somebody I work with used to work in boots, she was saying she was in broadmead this morn and speaking to one of the staff she knows and they have got asbestos in the upstairs celling and thats why it is all blocked off. They are supposed to be moving some tills about also, maybe we might get some SS tills( we can live in hope) had given up listening by then as she goes on a bit so aint got a clue which tills they are moving.0
