When I try to put something in my basket on .com the generic error comes up - I have been unable to empty it since I tried to place an order during the original 50% sale. Any help gratefully received. Not very IT savy re cookies etc. TIA
    try this;
    do not log in
put something you definitely know is in stock into your basket (like cotton balls) then go to your basket
    then login,
you should then be able to get into your basket to edit it.
but you may have to repeat this each time you log in as you may have a basket gremlin that fills your basket for you while you are logged out! (I've got one that likes to double everything in my basket) cs said they will be sorting this out and clearing everyone baskets in Feb.
If this doesn't work and you really need to make an order you do the order without logging in an just filling in all your details again. hth

Has anyone EVER won anything from one of the surveys? I got another one today and was happy to fill it out, the SA was lovely....... I bought 3 of the old No7 GWP (the gold bags) with blinkies and she suggested I take the points vouchers out of them first (because they expire today) and use one with each transaction :D So, £4.50 spend and 750 points back....... so in "Boots Logic" MrB paid me £3.00 to take them away - thanks very much MrB :T

I'd been planning that one for ages but couldn't find any of the GWP's in any of my local stores. WELL DONE to you tho' for getting a lovely SA to allow it:T :T

Do you know if the 4 in 1 wipes considered as cosmetics?

I tried to use the 250 points on the reduced suncare - lip and eye thing but it beeped. The SA said it is classified as suncare, not cosmetics

Yesterday i used a Blinkie & a No7 250 pts voucher from a xmas gift set on the Wipes & it all went thru' without any bleeps.

  • I picked up a No7 Perfect Pedicure set which was marked down as £7.66 so I took it to the till and it scanned as £3.86. (Couldn't use a blinkie on it tho so paid with points!) Thought this was a good buy! Just checked on .com and it's £7.66 on there.

Perhaps once something has been explained, if someone asks a question that was covered in the earlier explanation, we should just tell them it has been discussed in the last day and that they can do a search. Put nicely, of course, lol. People with a lot of exacting questions who want it spelt out over and over could be asked to PM someone, or someone could say "I will PM you with details"? That last part should be put on the board so others don't go back and answer the question, too.

Also, people could stop posting just to say such-and-such glitch that has already been reported just worked for them, too (unless the poster had some new information about how it worked or what items it worked with). Don't know how well people will stick to this idea, but it would be nice to keep deals from getting busted.

maybe once it gets to 1000 posts it could be stopped, another thread started ( which I think is meant 2 happen anyway ) but the old posts could be deleted, just my idea

Just managed to get the new GWP. Called in small store near where I work on the off chance they had some reduced HE - they didn't just an empty space where the 37p SEL was. But I did spy the new No 7 GWP. No signs for minimum spend, still signs for 342. So I got:

    1 x 4 in 1 wipes - £6.36
    1 x nail varnish - £6.12
    1 x nail varnish - free on 342
    GWP
Used blinkie so £7.48 to pay and got another blinkie

I didn't want to chance using my 250 points voucher but I'm sure some of you seasoned Bootsers wouldn't have batted an eyelid.

The GWP is lovely, much nicer than the gold one and there is a 250 points voucher when you buy any skincare product, including mens. Valid from 28th January to 26th April.

As boogellyboo (I think, sorry if wrong) pointed out in an earlier post there is a random choice of 2 lip colours, I got Plum Beautiful which takes me back as I've been wearing this colour on and off for about 20 years.

I will definitely use my last blinkie to get another, just need to find what the minimum spend is. I was planning on getting P&P day cream which is just over £18 and using 500 points voucher from mailing along with blinkie, but if minimum spend is £20 I'll have to rethink.
