In the past, people have complained to the moderators that there has been too much chat on Grabbit, Goodnight, I am buying a scooter, etc. And they complained that when they were looking at the thread to see what bargains could be had at Boots, it was difficult to find them. So where you are asking about people complaining and reporting, it is half a dozen of one and 6 of the other. While it is agreed discussions is how glitches and best spends and vouchers are discovered, while others disagree with this. CPG looks after this thread and it is through hard work that it was made a sticky. Maybe best to get clarification from CrazyPoshGal again.

Regarding Boots Refugees - as someone who posts on there about non boots related items and Boots related items, I would like to comment.

The reason MrsBlueBear set up the boots refugees site was because the original grabbit got closed for too much chat and not enough grabbit information. Because us boots fans were guilty of talking too much about off topic subjects and sharing our good news, MRSBB set up that forum.

We like to chat and share our good news or sad news, and see how eve ryone is getting on in their lives. We do chat about Boots when there is something to chat about, but lately there hasn't been many glitches or finds or vouchers, etc to really talk about.

So to prevent CPG's thread getting closed again we do all our chatting on that forum.

Please drop in one day and have a chat with us, we are friendly people and if you can tell us something about Boots that we may have missed, we will be pleased to hear it.

Dont get me wrong. I LOVE THE CHAT it doesnt bother me at all, and never has :T :T its other people that it bothers. The people it does bother have reported it in the past many times, and the grabbit thread has been closed down twice (Maybe more ) because of it. The last time was September 08, I was on holdiay at the time but when I came home, all that was left was the newly founded refugees site. MSE Andrea periodically posted reminders about it.

I am only giving my opinion on Boots monitoring of the site based on the reduction that was posted yesterday and 12 hours later had gone to full price.

It is down to everyone else to have their own opionion, and everyone will vary. Please don't think my posting is judgemental as it's not. I am just another poster like you.

Someone? posted only yesterday that the Sony 4GB USB pre-loaded with "Catfights and Spotlights" from Sugababes was still greatly reduced (£4.xx) despite there being no sale on. I put one in my basket. Today it is showing up as £17.49.

Agreed Polls. I mentioned the black manicure sets may be going through at 75% off as they were on dot com during the brief sale. Lo and behold I can't find one in any of the stores I've visited in the last few days. It could be that Bootsers have just bought them all but the SA in Metrocentre Boots today said she could swear they had loads of them previously, today there isn't even a SEL for them, methinks they've been moved while the price is corrected.

Fort has the usual, Dr Who hot water bottle covers, loads of wrapping and crackers. Loads of reduced No 7 also. No bottles of HE left and no T&G reduced stuff left. They do have Retinox 12 week challenge packs reduced to £15 and loads of suncream reduced.

Fort are also giving out the GWP that was with the mineral foundation/blusher free with any N7 purchases. They have got the valentines stuff out at the front of the shop.

I will deal with any questions re. chat etc in the morning coz i need to go get ready for work.

No one knows for sure. *If* it goes to 90% off, it will be tomorrow. But someone reported her SAs recently told her the sale was canceled. If anyone goes to Boots early tomorrow, please report back whether the sale is actually on!
