Hiya Sandra
I feel that way too + I guess I will probs feel the same when I am your age.. if I buy a good quality birthday pressie for £5 but was on offer from £20 for when DS goes to a kids party, I feel just the same then = guilty ... + as well as any other pressies I buy for people but what I normally do is if I am going to pay out x amount of money for someones pressies then I pay it regardless how much I save eg if I will spend £75 on pressies for 1 person then I always seem to spend that much regardless how much extra I have saved, so that person could get £200+ or so worth of presents. I don't really downgrade my amount of spend to equal the true value, cos if I even think about it then I just feel guilty for not spending the right amount of money. sorry but we are good shoppers but my way of thinking is just different from most people but that's just me lol. xxx
I bought a Good Works gift set a few weeks ago and the cashier managed to make it £1.52 to pay. I am giving it to my Brothers girlfriend for her birthday and won't feel guilty that it only cost £1.52 as it originally cost £30ish.VSP Challenge 2010 No 19 - £416.09 , 2011 No15 - £497.17, 2012 No9 - £146.52. 2013 No5 - £113.92SPC4 No1066 - £948.95,SPC5 No1066 - £659.49 (2 stone 13lbs)SPC6 No1066 - Pot 1 - 3.03b. ROFL. I was looking in the mens section. LOL. Couldn't find any that were discounted. LOL. Silly me.
I think I am off to Leeds again on Thu, so will have a quick look then. Do they have stuff in them too or just empty ones?
OFF TOPIC: Searched high and low for a snowsuit/all in one for my almost 1 year old nephew. Can't locate a single one. Been to Boots, Sainsbury's, Patch something or the other, Mothercare, Adams is now shut. Where else is there I can get one? HELP! My nephew is 1 next month and I want to get him a really nice one. Ta muchly.
TKMaxx have them, I'm pretty sure Tesco would too.0 -
With regard to psoriasis, I have found Exorex Lotion really works (unfortunately it is not cheap) and if you need a shampoo, Polytar is great, but the smell is a bit of a drawback (although once hair is dry it doesn't linger).
I use Polytar when I get a flaky scalp - I love the smell - am I weird :rotfl: ?0 -

That happened on some keyrings in an Alliance store that were marked down to 50p but went through the till at 12p each, so probably worth having any Christmas clearance price-checked
Having to quote myself as not sure how to quote the original post
Tested that theory out again in a couple of Alliance stores yesterday, and the Christmas 75% off items were definitely going through at 90% off.
The only downside is there's hardly anything left (unsurprisingly) but still worth a look if you're passing any Alliance stores. Be prepared for some very puzzled looks from the SA's though lol.
Still spotting some odds and ends being reduced in Boots on shaving foam and Gillette items etc, but nowhere near as many reductions locally as there was before.

I was sent a one of those Soap & Glory vouchers by email but I would like to print a few off and instead of using all that ink I would like to do the one posted on here as the poster says you can do 6 on a page but here is the hard part, I am hopeless on the computer so so could somebody explain to me in the simplest of terms (as if you were talking to a 5 year old) how to do it please?
Many thanks.0 -
you can use the 50 point voucher from the acm for boots baby experts on wipes and they are on bogof so £2.34 for 2 packs of baby wipes and 50 points0

Sorry to keep posting this but maybe I'm not being obvious enough!
Mr B didn't send me a PC voucher Save £5 wys £10 in baby dept or 500 pts wys £15 in baby dept which I could really use;)
I'm sure he sent me lots that someone would find useful hint hint hint.

SandraScarlett - thankyou. I've sent a pm.
It might interest you to read here and here which should demonstrate how much last year hit me and why I'm planning a basket
I never met the child but I met her parents, aunt and little sister and that was heart breaking. I have two girls who were almost the same age as when she died and it horrified me. So, I figure it's a good cause to support. The money goes to the Meningitis Trust.
Thought I'd better share since you've offered to send stuff on the basis of little information. The family know I'm planning a basket and that it will be Boots products, they just don't know about the Bootsers part of MSE so I'm hoping the contents will be a big surprise
Have pm'd you xx0 -

When I was that age I don't think Botanics had been invented :rotfl: But I did spot some reduced Miners make up yesterday. I don't think I've seen that since I was eleven.Oh what a tangled web we weave, when first we practice to deceive. ~ Sir Walter Scott0 -
