Not a grabbit but had to share!!

Just received Boots email with a link to a quiz for what to get others for Valentines Day.

At the bottom of the page the suggestion was for 'Philips Intimate Dual Massager.' My curiosity got the better of me as I was having bizarre visions of a DUAL massager!!!:D I was slightly disappointed when I looked at the item. However, when reading the blurb this made me giggle: '...This appliance is not intended for use by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety...' Am wondering if the Naked Men on offer are those giving supervision or instruction?!?!?!:rotfl:

  • Hi all, had a very short and disappointing boots trip today. Saw manager scanning prices on shelves yesterday and today and was hoping to get some reduced skin/haircare but to no avail:p. Also advantage card faulty so have had to order new one, am gutted as dh has volunteered to have kids while i go shop for him as well as me and was gonna use my points. If i use my acm vouchers will they still go through if i am just having the receipt validated iyswim? Also broke my beautiful frosted glass bed side touch lamp and dont think john lewis stock them anymore.
You laugh because I'm different......I laugh cause I just farted!

Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak out and remove all doubt. (A.C)

The voucher doesn't say that anything except wipes are excluded from use with this voucher, so I think next time you try to use it, you'll just have to be firm with the SA, point out that it does not exclude any of the skincare range except the wipes, and stand your ground. Most SA's, I find, will try to help you, and will manually override tills etc when they can.

I haven't used my vouchers yet, but will attempt it later this week. It looks, from this thread, that the voucher always has to be manually overriden at the tills.
