nipped out as feel bit better still got to go hospital weekly for tests tho but hubby wanted to go to a store next to a boots :j It's one i never go to as it is rubish but still had to go in lol I tried to get a dermo mircobrassion kit from roc with the wrinkley and roc voucher but sa said vouchers couldn't be used as it was in the clearance so i left it shame they didn't have ss tills
no he no expert kit,no putting sets and no gwp it's not ment to be, never mind it's fun trying.

last time i will post this swap also found a £2 or £3 off huggies walkers (not sure as it doesn't say on it) voucher to go with the bundle

    or 1 wrinkley for gwp

Shame you couldn't use your wrinklie - I used two yesterday one on the RoC microbrasion kit and one on a refill for the kit - both were marked clearance. I assume you were in Burton? Derby Westfield still had a few left yesterday pm.

I thought I'd share my plans with you all, to sort of formalise it.
I worked on a fundraising evening last year for a family who lost their toddler daughter to meningitis. They've asked me back this year and I thought I could contribute to their fundraising by putting a huge Bootser basket together for their raffle.
So, if anyone has bright ideas or suggestions in general, please do let me know.
I did gift baskets with values around £50 for friends for Xmas but I'm hoping to really blast this and make it well worth winning.
It's being held on Halloween, so plenty of time but I want to maximise the potential by starting early.
Any ideas, please do let me know :)
I'm starting with S&G tomorrow hopefully.

    Hiya Happyjaw,

Please keep updating and reminding us during the year and I will be able to contribute, I don't have anyhting to help with yet but most definately will when the next glitch comes along - you had better get a big basket methinks!!!:D

Haven't had any close encounters with meningitis but since haveing the girls you definately become more aware of issues like this.

    Good luck x

Am going to try a different Boots tomorrow in a slightly 'posher' town:cool:
hopefully too posh to shelf strip the bargains:rotfl:

Eastgate Bristol has loads of reductions on the Toni & Guy, and also Model Me. Was served by a lovely team leader who allowed me to use 3 clearance items (2 CW plus 1 Model Me) with £2 off haircare and total was £2.32.Hand in the 150points on T&G first then the £2off haircare, but the 150 points beeped. She just override it and told me that that voucher always beeped and she had to manually add it. Did this in 3 separate transactions and paid 32p in each transaction.

Saw 3 bottles of reduced HE (200ml) but was priced at £1.47, I left it since it was a bit overpriced, I think  . More reduced sun lotion and sun tan in the other clearance shelf.

Well I've had dissapointing shops today. Went to Portishead Boots, never been to that store before and wont bother going there again!!
Thought I might as well go to Cribbs Causeway Boots as I was out and about, thought I was going to get an ace shop but SA scuppered my plans.
    model me 70p
    No7 pore refining stuff £2.50
    meal deal £2.99
    childrens paracetemol £1.80

used hair voucher so model me free, and no7 250 extra points from gwp, childrens medicine half price cos of health club and currently double points)

But SA refused to do s&g handcream with voucher, I was dissapointed but not going to argue as I know she is actually in the right, but she also refused the ACM extra points for tony&guy, I said that I had always got the extra points before but she said that as it was only 70p anyway and I had got it for free with voucher there's no way they would then give me extra points.

After I'd walked away saw she had charged me for 2 lots of childrens med so had to queue all over again to get my 90p refunded.

Wish I had stayed in, but hopefullly next shop will be better.
now has her .com delivery but doesnt know where to put it :o

  • I'm sure I read that someone had got a leaflet from their branch saying there was £5 off of a £25 spend this Thursday.

Does anyone know if this is all branches? I didn't see any leaflets in my local one, and I'm trying to work out the best shop to buy some perfume in

The golden rule is to always hand over your points vouchers first before any MOC's or other vouchers. They should scan ok, then hand the SA your MOC's.

The T&G has to be overriden every time if you buy only Model Me in your transaction - but if you buy say one normal T&G and one Model Me, the voucher goes through fine with no beeps.

The SA has always manually added my points for buying Model Me though - as its a T&G item, and it says nothing on the voucher about it not being useable on clearance products.

    Hi all

    This is my first thread

So you can say i am a boots virgin!

I printed off my S & G Voucher but it would not accept it at my local Boots.

SA was lovely and did try several S & G Items but to no avail.

How to i get my £2 off please

Also can someone please pm me to explain how you get all the money off etc. I have read the post but im now following it. err!!

    Thanks

    Wife to be

I really could do with some S&G for my Breast Cancer Care raffle.....so I went into Boots yesterday and went through the same polava yesterday.

The SA trotted off to speak to a manager who said that it can only be used on the facial product...skin care to me...means care for skin anywhere on the body...

Any in anycase the voucher does not say facial skincare...it just says skin care.....but who am I to argue??
