Just received an email from Boots Viewpoint, asking what I thought about an offer £5.00 off swimwear when you spend £25.00.

 I got : What did i think of a free beach towel wys £20 on sun protection.

Told 'em to not bother ;)

Any Bristol Bootsers, don't waste your time going to Emerson Green. It is the worst Boots I have every been to for bargains!!!! They did not have any of the reduced hair CW, Model Me with reduced SEL, they had put some on an overpriced shelf marked clearance and most were double the prices I have been paying and as they were clearnace I doubt you could use the £2 off voucher. They had loads of L'Oreal Anti Fatigue bags all at full price. I complained to an SA in a suit that looked like a supervisor that the store was more expensive than any other Boots. Told her that she wouldn't shift the stuff on clearance very quickly at those prices!! She went off and checked the stock list to check if the L'oreal sets were going to be reduced but said they are coming up as current stock so wouldn't be.

I tested abit of the P & P Hand cream and wasn't very impressed. It is nowhere near as good as the Olay Time effects one which is much cheaper!!!

I actually didn't buy a thing in Boots today - it was that bad at the branch I went to!!!!

i'm getting confused now...so what CAN we use this on??

Anything from the skincare range - which is with olay, l'oreal etc - but not the facial wipes as they are only £3.91. Quite fancy trying the eye gel @ £7.xx.
  • Can someone please tell me what I'm supposed to do with Model Me Jamelia High Maintenance Pomade?!

    :rotfl:

Edit - it's in a white square container, it was 50p on clearance

Googled - is a waxy or greasy substance used to style hair and makes it look slick and shiny.

Can't they just call it styling wax:rolleyes:

Oh great....one to stay in my stash then (which is now taking up a ridiculous amount of space in my uni room!) To make matters worse mine has a huge thumb mark in it!
