Popped into Boots yesterday and got a lovely free sample vial of the new Lacoste pink perfume - called 'Love of Pink' ( I think). Its very sweet smelling so I'm not overly keen but dd13 loves it. It was on display on the perfume counter so I popped it in my basket with my goodies

Birmingham Fort had at least 6 of the putting sets about an hour ago, couldnt remember what the deal was so didn`t get any, tried to get the NO7 GWP with the half price trimmer & a blusher but till said no, SA said it should go through shall I check with No7 lady, err no thanks, Il leave it, got 2 of the Girad New York sets used voucher from booklet they beeped, SA said your not having much luck are you I will put them through after, when I checked receipt 2 lots of points had gone on so got 2000 points, made up for not getting GWP

Helloooo - have been lurking here for a while - fab thread!! Although I must admit to finding it all a bit confusing too LOL!! Anyway thought I would start to day and do my first 'bootsing'!! Not sure it was that successful really!! Went to my local boots which is fairly small and NO clearance at all apart from Xmas wrapping paper at 75% off!

Tried to use the ACM to get vouchers - specifically the £5 of No7 P&P!!! But the machines were out of order - very frustrating!!! Really want one as I want to buy the 200ml of P&P serum with my 1/3 off voucher (£64.59) and then hopefully get extra fiver off! Plus they didn't have the 200ml bottles anyway! Will try another Boots tomorrow!

Then used the £5 off skincare wrinklie (which I got last week in my No7 GWP)to buy Time Delay Sunshine Gradual Tan SPF15 Daily Facial Moisteriser - priced £5.86 so I got it for 86p

Then used the £2 off haircare3 wrinklie (also got in my No7 GWP last week) to buy Lee Stafford Flat Iron Protection Shine Mist - priced £4.98 so I got it for £2.98 - thrilled with this cos I use it all the time!!

Tried to use the S&G voucher but it was quite tricky as most of the range didn't appear to be skincare - those that were, were a bit pricey for me even with the £2 off - didn't want to buy it for the sake of buying it!! And the stuff I liked was mainly bath stuff - I did try and use it for the shower gel as that would have been a bargain but the voucher beeped - originally saying it had expired - the SA (who by the way was lovely! She immediatly said Oooh I'll put these all through as separate transactions for you!) looked at it and said it clearly didn't so she then keyed it in manually but then said sorry but its cos its not skincare!! Might try again in a store that has got more variety!

Anyway so that wasn't too good was it? Guess it was my first time - I'll get better!! And hopefully when I start trying different stores I'll get to know the good ones!!

Probably 12-15 sets left after I snaffled 5! SA also told me she was itching to put 10p clearance stickers on the wrapping paper they had left, but couldn't do it just yet!

Hiya - if you're just going to bin the £5 No7 P&P voucher I just wondered if you might be able to send it to me pretty please - haven't got anything to swap it for at the moment other than the £2 S&G but as soon as I do have something you'd like I'd be more than happy to send it to you. Can someone else use the voucher even if your name is on it? Does anyone know?

I dont know about others, but I used the T & G points voucher with the reduced T & G shampoo and it beeped. The SA said that it was because it can't be used with any other offer, but I pointed out it doesn't say that on the voucher & the SA reluctantly put the points on manually.

I used a few the other day when buying 1 T&G and I MM in the same transaction. I did this a couple of times and they scanned without a beep. They must've fixed the tills so the vouchers don't scan

Hi all

Totally addicted to Bootsing now, but a bit gutted to hear that they're stopping stocking GHD's as that's what I was saving my points for.

Today's bargains (paid cash)

Men's Botanics set from £8 to £1.95 - scanned at 48p
M&J Top from £10 to 5 - scanned at £2.50
3 x FCUK Detox shampoo 99p each
2 x Boots hair colour - 81p each
L'oreal(?) Men's anti-f set - £3.67 (sadly only 1 left as SA did say they are on multiple purchase offer)
2 x really weeny lightweight umbrellas reduced to £5 each

The lovely SA then said to me 'I can see you like a bargain, have you seen the Radox shower creams on offer at 40p and BOGOF?'
So I headed straight there and bought 10, and 6 handwash refills reduced to 49p again on BOGOF!

Very happy with my shop :j

Still haven't spotted the 'lesser spotted putting set' in Norwich yet...

Back on the subject of straightners, has anyone tried/can recommend any of the ones on offer in Boots please? Big thanks in advance
