All liquid soaps, shower creams and Model Me gone. Sedley Pl had about 8 Radox soap refill bags for 49p left (of course BOGOF).


Wrinklie and Olay Eye Illuminator voucher (from the purple GWP) - tried this combination of vouchers with an Olay Definity cleanser but beeped and did not recognise the Illuminator voucher, so looks like only for the Eye Illuminator.

SS tills and GWP alert !! - paid for the above cleanser and GWP at SS till. Was smooth until payment and message asked for "authorisation on non-payment item" - ie. the Olay GWP. SA came and had a look at what was in my bag and OK'd it. This was at Sedley Pl. The days of freebie GWPs may have been busted.

PS: Oxford St was partly closed as there had been an accident. There was an awning (presumably covering the victim), with shoes and a handbag strewn nearby. Was in Boots opposite Primark when a SA said she was shaking. I asked what was going on and she said that the police had enquired about the dead woman's ID as she had a Boots card on her.

Very sad. Hope all here are present and accounted for.

hiya:) thanks for letting us know about the GWP alert. I bet too many peeps have abused mr B generosity (taken 2 many GWP in one transaction) that's why they are clamping down:rolleyes::mad:

Has n e 1 else had the same problem on SS 2day? If this is around all stores then it will b difficult to get the No7 GWP thru with electrical items too where the system c's it @ full price... TIA:(

Swansea main branch has a clearance corner upstairs in the old cafe area: quite a few odds & sods but prices are quite high compared to those reported here (eg 'old' Herbal essences about £1.50 etc) several pantene items, lots of No7 sun items, which were not about during the No7 blinkie offer, plenty of squashed, grubby & opened packets etc.

They have a new layout downstairs, very confusing especially as I had DH in tow

Lots of Gillette putting sets so we can have a game if we get snowed up:rolleyes:

There is a tiny (and I do mean tiny) shelf of clearance with some odds and ends (tat, really) hidden away at the very back of the store on the shelves where the Christmas stock used to be. Right along the back wall iyswim. Not really worth looking for. Was posted last night that Fort in line for an award hence why they are 'tidying' up store.

As for me...the last few visits to Fort have been wasted, much less stock than they ever had, a disorganised layout and no clearance items/bargains to be had. Maybe they will win the award..but I strongly suspect they are currently losing custom.

I did two x Olay GWP when buying the cleanser (two seperate transactions) and went through fine, just shouted 'free item'

By main branch do you mean Quadrant? I was in there today and there were about 6/7 bottles of HE left for 83p each. Orange bottles of conditioner. Where in store did you find the putting sets? Thanks

That's why i thought i must be missing product clearance ( making way for new layout) So, excess goods must be going to other stores then.

I just called into Swansea Quadrant Boots and bought 2 gillette shaving gel's - had the last putting set on the shelf - sorry - but there is a space for them in the middle of the mens gillette section - they should get some more in. Couldn't find any reduced gillette items so bought 2 travel size shaving gels.
