    Sealed Pot Challenge NO. 632.

    2011 Birthday pressies bought = loads :)
2011 Christmas pressies bought = loads
  • Been on my travels - popped into Durham this morning - couldn't find any bargains but noticed free Giorgio 2008 bear with any fragrance purchase of £35.

Called into Derby Westfield on the way home and did much better. Radox handwash 500 ml refills reduced to 49p and BOGOF, managed to find the love brochure and gain 500 extra points on a Girard gift set reduced to £8.xx, Bratz catwalk make-up now down to £1, Dr Who phone charms still marked at £2.63 but going through at 69p, Wood Worx fighter plane kit down to £4.xx from £20.

Still loads of clearance No 7 lotions and potions - and the GWP's were all coded 488 if that helps anyone.

SA was fab, showing me all the bargains - she's the one by the side door not the main tills.

Went to Boots and spent no cash !!!!

Fed up with not spending my points .Decided to ignore extra points vouchers, wrinklies etc and just look for some bargains!

Got 2 Naked gift sets @2.21 each - paid with points

Got RoC microdermabrasion pads x 2 reduced to 3.91 each from ??? and did 2 transactions with wrinklies.

Got Roc hydra care set with beauty bag reduced from £22.50 to 11.25- tried it with a wrinklie but no go so paid with points!

Looked at the soap and glory skincare but already have so much stuff so did not bother .
I need to stop thinking ' if there is a voucher i must use it' .went up to put the latest lot away and I would be embarrassed for anyone to see the cupboard. To think I used to laaugh at my MiL in the 1970's with her garage full of sugar and toilet rolls after rumours of a shortage!

Need to get a grip and stop this Bootsing!

I got 3 x £1.50 off Expert Men from 1 machine, and then 2 x £1.50 off Expert Men from another machine in the same store. Give it a go, you might be able to print more out.

Can someone tell me what the cheapest No7 P + P Skincare item is to use with the £5.00 off voucher? Thanks in advance.

    Hiya mimi!

    I think it's the £8.60 p&p lipcare..........Also there's the handcream which is £10........

    ;)
"Buy me, Lady", said the frock, "and I will make you into a BEAUTIFUL & WHOLE & COMPLETE human being".
"Do not be silly", said the Man, "for a frock alone cannot do that".
"True", said the Lady, "I will have the shoes and the bag as well".

  • Thank you to whoever it was that posted about the voucher in the Love Notes booklet. I got myself the Girard Provence Spring gift set today for £8.56 and got my 500 points added to my card :D

I then treated myself and got the Marc Jacobs' Daisy 20ml spray and 15ml refill set with some of the points I've been building up. It smells gorgeous!

In the Fremlin Walk branch, in Maidstone, I went to redeem a £5 skincare voucher against Olay Regenerist daily regenerating cream wash, and instead of the £6.36 shown on the SEL, it came up on the till as £6.99. The SA said it must be because they haven't finished changing the labels yet!! I stood my ground, and she took the SEL and got someone to over-ride the transaction, but I've a feeling she wasn't going to put the label back. They're definitely putting prices up!

Talking of 'putting', there's still no sign of any putting sets in either of the branches in Maidstone.

Also I checked the piles of No7 GWPs in both branches and both still have the ones with 31115 478 on them, so I didn't bother. I think I may have to place an order online if I want to stand any chance of getting a different colour lippy or a 250 point voucher.

Popped into Boots yesterday and got a lovely free sample vial of the new Lacoste pink perfume - called 'Love of Pink' ( I think). Its very sweet smelling so I'm not overly keen but dd13 loves it. It was on display on the perfume counter so I popped it in my basket with my goodies :D

Also picked up the Love notes booklet but don't think I will be using the voucher ;)

This was at West Brom store.
