I got the Babyliss Pro 230 Radiance Straighteners using my points when they were on Offer Of The Week. They are brilliant, and get excellent reviews

Could someone tell me how to make a clickable link on the product title, please? It would be a handy thing to know

Edit: My son has told me how :)

Would you mind telling me how to do this please :D
    TIA
  • Thanks Wendy - thats great!
Although I did actually buy reduced wipes today and didnt know I could get it!

I was going to shop around for my glasses when I next needed new ones but sudden emergency meant I couldn't and just had to plump for Boots. Mine were even more expensiv -- v short sighted, need v thin plastic & varifocals -- and the 'free' second pair would have cost about £200 too. So then we tried with the second pair being ordinary sunglasses, driving OK but no close reading, and it was still going to be v expensive and I couldn't justify it. Nice kind SA was so horrified I'd lose out on free glasses, she spoke to manager, got me 10% discount and I ended up paying just an extra £15 or so for prescription sunglasses, so was quite pleased. But a shame we don't get the normal points with opticians and can't spend points there either. That would be worth collecting millions of points for!

They did offer me 20% discount but that still makes it £360. The 'free' second pair idea is ridiculous when our lenses cost that much. But hey the £3.60's worth of points is a real incentive, not!!!! Did see some sunglasses in the sale so maybe worth trying to getting a deal on those as the second pair but gas bill take priority at the mo

You have to type what you want to appear in the reply box, then you highlight the text which will become the hyperlink, then click on the icon that looks like a little world with a chain link (or a bit like a paperclip) and it gives you a box in which to put the URL you are linking to. It's a good idea to have right-clicked and copied the URL beforehand so you can paste it straight in

Hope you understand that - I'm not very good at explaining

  • Hi all :D

Thanks sally06 for the advice on Oxford st (unfortunately didn't see it till I got back - but thank you!)

    Managed the following:

    Shop1

    1 x Olay scrub wash £5.86
    1 x Purple GWP £0.00
Total to pay: £0.86 - using wrinklie

    Shop2

1 x Gilette mens deo spray £0.54 (marked on SEL as £1.75!)
    1 x putting set
2 x Radox protect refill handwash £0.49 (BOGOF)
    2 X Radox moisturise refill handwashg £0.49(BOGOF)

Went back for a few more Gilette sprays and putting sets! Even SA was shocked at the price :D

    Didn't make it up to the 2nd floor (luckily I didn't - don't need anymore make-up!)

No 'Love Notes' perfume booklets but Girard sets and other reduced perfume on the Ground floor.

Reduced jewellery (had no idea Boots did jewellery - from £1) on ground floor too.

    HTH :D

Part of the Furniture Combo Breaker Mortgage-free Glee!
have just discovered a great use for the S&G dodgy pink massage glove. :j

I gave my dad putting set for his b'day today and my mum screwed it together too tightly and none of us could undo it (tried for ages) Then I had a brainwave and tried to do it with the glove and it came undone instantly!!!!
I'd recommend everyone keeps one of these in the kitchen for undoing bottles and jars!! I had a spare one so gave it to my mum for kitchen use!!

What a good idea. Wish I had bought the set now as I could use a glove for undoing jars. I struggle at times just like my mum used to! Sign of age!!!!

The Fort B/ham are selling these in a box on their own, think it was £4 they were on shelf with all new accessories
  • Hi, not much to report today, no 90% off signs, i dont think its gonna happen, but i am quite content with my lot:D. Managed to get some sanctuary hanwash for 87p after £3 moc, which is lovely. Couldn't find the love notes booklet:(, but its stopped me from buying more perfume. Got a few wrinklies buying essentials then spent them on olay cream wash and ts hair freshening spray plus used points voucher. Got the one and only dragon sa in my local, have previously had to ring cs, regarding her sullen attitude/ lack of manners etc and she managed not to look like she was giving me the money off from her own pocket:rolleyes:, which is progress in her case!
You laugh because I'm different......I laugh cause I just farted!

Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak out and remove all doubt. (A.C)
