Boots Grabbit Bargains Part 49 - Post your finds here

Yes very bad of the SA - data protection laws should surely cover this!!!!
I'm not even keen on SAs asking me what I am saving for, let alone the AC machine displaying points balance in large letters on home page and then in smaller ones as I use it. I'd prefer having a choice on the screen to check my balance instead. Mr B, are you listening in to this?0 -
Hi guys,
Have just received an email from Boots, containing a printable voucher for 1/3 off the large size (200ml) P&P serum, for £64.59 instead of £96.90.
Not the bargain of the century but should be combinable with the £5 off any P&P product from the ACM for those lucky enough to be given that voucher!
It may qualify for a few gwp's as well, depending on the SA!
Oooooooh, very tempting, very tempting indeed
What's the best combo that could be done with this then? £5.00 off P&P from ACM (I didn't get this last week, maybe this week.....)+ a total spend from ACM?You can't control everything in life....... your hair was put on your head to remind you of that

http://www.boots.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?storeId=10052&productId=39871&callingViewName=&langId=-1&catalogId=11051
And using the £2 wrinklie, plus according to the site i get 200points, though i never saw that advertised instore today! Anyone know if the offer is in store?
Also can i use the 150points voucher from the ACM i got today with it too?0 -

I managed to find a couple of these sets the other day & the SA suggested that the voucher might work as does not specifically exclude Mens range. It bleeped, so she referred to a colleague who said it was because they were reduced. I said that the reasoning didn't tie in with Boots normal policy ie used plenty of vouchers on reduced No 7, but was happy with the price of £5.50 so took them anyway. I explained that it was not me who had suggested it could be used, and so she looked rather 'unimpressed' towards her colleague!0 -

It isn't in store unfortunately. It's an 'alternative' offer to the £2.00 haircare voucherYou can't control everything in life....... your hair was put on your head to remind you of that

(Shame we can't buy it at reduced price with points.) As well as the acm £5 off P&P voucher, if you can pop into several Boots stores in a day, you might find two different acm vouchers (this happened to me upstairs and downstairs in Trafford Centre so maybe even within one store), thus getting even more points. Am sure someone will post you a spare £5 P&P voucher if you ask. And negotiate w SA to see how many gwps she will let you have. It's a lot of money you are spending!
Edit. Oh yes. Find someone with with over 60 discount and another 10% off, though you'd have to negotiate the points with them. Better still, find someone w staff discount.0 -

Yes, I think so. Hand over points voucher first.0 -

Went to Buchannan Galleries Boots, not much to be had i'm afraid but i managed to find:
T&G Copper Shampoo - 65p
CW Choppy paste - £1.10
paid £1.75, 4pts plus had old reciept with point on it, gave me another 104 points
Then i decided to walk down to St Enochs center Boots and i got:
Model Me Shampoo : £1.22
Model Me Conditioner: £1.22
Model Me Blow dry liquid: £1.47
Model Me Styleing Spray: £1.47
CW Max shine Spray: 98p
Simple spf 20 lipbalm: 90p
Boots Holiday Glow face moisturiser: 85p x 2
Pat Obv Hand Sanitiser: 74p
Total: £9.70, 32 points recieved and wrinklie recieved
Then i went over to No7, and got:
P&P lipcare: £8.60 (used £5p&p voucher)
Skin Illuminator in pink: £10.30
Gradual Fake tan: £2.25 clearance
and the GWP! All the ones i picked up where marked 488 on the back, as was mine, and i got the Sugar Plum lippy and a voucher!
total: £16.15, used £10 gift voucher so only paid £6.15, recieved 64 points and another wrinklie!
Not too shabby for my first Bootsing!
I also printed out a load of vouchers from the ACM, i think i have about 3 of each! lol I think i could get all the vouchers, and can print out more if anyone needs some. Thinking of taking a trip up to the Fort tomorrow, as its a huge Boots and i have these wrinklies to use now!:hello:

Here is a pic of the Love Notes brochure if it helps people locate it in their local Boots...
[snipped the picture]
Oop sorry it's so big, thgt I had resized it!
They were putting them in the baskets at the weekend. I didn't realise there was a voucher in there, but the SA put the brochure in my carrier bag. Unfortunately my Patently Obvious handwash leaked all over my shopping - so don't forget to check those tops are secure!0
