My local has lots of the pink vanity bags on display - caught my eye coz it's very nice, very retro and a lovely shade of pink. Well worth getting.

I think you'll have problems being refunded to paypal in-store and would have to send the item to .com (based on what little bit I remember from others who have tried to return things paid with paypal). But I personally wouldn't return something via mail as the warehouse is too disorganized and you may never get credit. If it were me, I'd just trade it for other goods in-store.

Those clearance items were £2 or more each when I looked the other day - the SA told me they had been bored today (probably as it was quiet due to the weather) so went through and reduced it all to 50p an item to try to clear it. I'm certainly not complaining

I discovered something new, though - the till has a limit to the number of items per transaction. I hit that limit with all my clearance bargains The SA said she had heard there was a limit but never thought she would come across it LOL. She was very nice about it, though, and said at least she had a chance to learn what to do if it happens again - next time the branch might be busy. It wouldn't allow my £2 haircare voucher to go through because of the transaction limit, and wouldn't even allow her to void out any items to get it through. She had to do it as a refund after I had paid.


Oh, and I did get a £5 P&P voucher from the ACM, but didn't spend it today.

I also didn't bother trying to earn a No7 GWP, as every one was 31115 478 (daughter helped me check every pile lol). I mentioned this to the SA, so she opened one - yep, it was Pink Lemonade with no voucher. She said they had been told they were all Pink Lemonade, and she was unaware that there were any other colours out there. Looks like I'm not meant to get any other colour or a 250 point voucher

No putting sets at all in this branch, either

Please can someone point me to a photo of the putting set as I really want get 1 or more for my son and his friends. DD and me are off to London on Thursday on a £1,00 coach ticket so availabilty in London would be great if anyone knows. I am considering going to Beckton anyone idea what is in stock I am also looking for Loreal anti fatigue sets.

Sent you a pm with a pic from ebay, (not sure if I can post it on here?).

It`s like a big, black pencil case with a blue cardboard sleeve wrapped around it, on the sleeve is a picture and list of the contents inside. They are usually found around the new Gillette stock, in the aisle or on the end of aisle near a promotional stand.
