  • Can i just ask, has anyone bought a top up voucher with points before? I have read on the first page that this is allowed, yet i sent my twin daughters into Boots tonight with my AC to buy 2x£10 top ups and were refused and told by the SA that they couldnt use points to top phones up:confused:
I was in Asda myself, which is right across the car park, and was too late by the time they came back to me and told me, i dont want to go in there tomorrow trying to tell them how to do their job if i am wrong, can anyone please comfirm if this is right or wrong please.
    TIA

When I was on pay&go I always used to top up at Boots just because I got the points on my ac. I still top my OH's phone up this way and have never been refused points. HTH:j :j

Has anyone else with a voucher from the latest n7 gwp noticed that it says any skincare product, as opposed to any product.
has anyone tried it with cosmetics yet?? would be interesting to see if it will only go through with the creams and stuff
yes mine also says any skincare product + cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer or discount. I will still try it :rotfl:

and I've just noticed that one of the packs of Cherry Raisins marked as 25p went through as 2p, and 2 of the L'Oreal lipglosses each show on the receipt as 50p with a saving of 50p, leaving them as totally free!!

I did ask the SA how people would have got on that cleared the shelves during the 75% off sale, and she presumed they must have had to put them through as several transactions

Sorry to quote myself, but I've just realised why they went through as free. They are L'Oreal 6H Glam Shine Lip Gloss, and if you look on .com you'll see that there is a "Save up to £3 on Selected L'Oreal" offer. On this particular item it says "You save £2.00", so the till took off as much of the £2.00 as it could on each of these items, even though they were already marked down to 50p each in clearance :)

At least you'll have company then! Its only 5 mins in the car from me. Dont think the W&W stand is there anymore but could be wrong. Didnt see anything to use my £2 haircare vouchers on (nothing reduced at all) and that was disappointing but a few good buys nonetheless.
Better stop chatting before i get into trouble lol but good luck and will look forward to reading your shopping lists :D
Lucky you, Silverburn is just down the road from me! lol Might pop in on the way home and check out the Boots in there too!
See what this board has done to me?! lol

just to let anyone know, was in the little boots in anglia square in norwich today and they had the super shine and greasy roots dry ends shampoo and conditioner @73p. lots left and still with 100 points.
couldn't be bothered to brave town though!
  • Hi...which Kent store did you find bargains (read as quote a couple of posts ago) please? I did a Boots swoop yesterday and got a few bits....but nothing like your haul today, well done!
Have you managed to find Gillette putter yet? I have managed to find just 1 store with them in if you are interested, however they do have security guards surrounding them :rotfl:

It was the branch in the Chequers Centre, Maidstone. I don't usually find bargains like that, so was very pleased :D

I haven't found a putter yet, but I'm unable to go out of Maidstone as I have to be close to home (I'm a carer)

I have done this before - the SA didn't think that it would work, but tried it anyway (probably just to shut me up LOL). As we well know, it does work - you may just need to persuade them to try!
