I'm thinking of getting a present for a bloke friend of mine. Anyone know of anything posh that's on sale at Boots at the moment? I'm willing to spend up to £50 on it, but no more. Obviously, the cheaper the better. Any suggestions? Ta muchly.

I usually stick with aftershave when buying a gift for males, and use as many min spend vchrs as poss. Maybe someone early in the morn could offer a betr suggestion?

    littlepink stars,

what is the boots at silverburn like as i've never been? is it big? any ss tills? any good for clearance or bargains usually?

And any other glasgow/lanarkshire bootsers been to the newish boots at uddingston?

    tia

Didn't even know there was a newish Boots in Uddingston. Is it one on main street?Years since I actually went to the main street and never noticed when driving past. There used to be one in Scotmid in Viewpark I think but it was really small and more of a pharmacy.

I haven't been to Silverburn Boots either be interested to find out. Fort has gone down hill I think. I go there often but last few visits have been waste of time, since they changed their sales plan or something. They never seem to offer the reductions some of the other branches do all of a sudden..or is it just me?

Silverburn Boots is quite big, i like it. I don't know about SS tills, i've not been in ages, and only discovered St Enochs as SS tills yesterday! As for clearance and things i really don't know, i only started Bootsing yesterday! lol Though i think i'm going to pop up there later instead of the Fort! So will report back later!

Includes £5 off olay definity eye cream which can be used with £5 wrinklie

Thats gorgeous ! I haven't seen one of those before. So do you get one of these with ANY Olay purchase (e.g face wash), or has it got to be a purchase over a certain amount ? Has anyone seen the gwp in Maidenhead or Reading branches ? And can you get one if you buy any Olay product and use a wrinklie towards it ?

You get one with ANY purchase of anything if you're brave enough. I got one at a self service till with a soap and glory purchase.
  • I haven't seen the Olay Gwp anywhere in Birmingham. Have visited New Oscott, Sutton, Chelmsley, Birmingham (both) and none to be seen!
