Broadmead, Bristol - I picked up 2 x CW Really Shiny Gloss Polish for £1.10 each so 20p with the £2 hair voucher. Also got 3 x silver 17 purses containing mascara, eyeshadow and nail varnish for £1 each and used points to pay for those. They had finally reduced the L'Oreal fatigue sets but sold out!!! Not much in reduced men's toiletries left there either and no golf sets.

P & P ACM vouchers back for me but I think there is a limit to how many you can print as I printed 3 and it disappeared!! Had already printed 1 last week so maybe a limit of 4 allowed!

    Whitechapel, L/Pool.

Finally managed to get me a couple of L`oreal anti-fatigue sets for £4.** ...............WOOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!! (SEL was for £14.**).

No cheap HE or Gillette.(they had some Gillette in the small one on castle st).

I`m not exactly sure what Radox SG is cheap so i can`t comment, sorry.

I now need a putting set! Am I right in thinking this will go through free? or do you have to have a Gillette product/ products in the transaction? I have seen a set but bottled out as i wasn`t sure.

    Thanks. x

WEll I went on a tour of bristol and managed to find the olay gwp in emersons green, I was sooooo excited, never seen one before! So I got that along with olay face wash (using a wrinklie). Would have done this a few times if the snow hadnt suddenly started to fall heavily and I was worried I would be snowed in at Boots (Oh can u imagine!!:rotfl::T) and had to pick children up from w-s-m.
Also saw loads of mens loreal anti fatigue in emersons green but it scanned at full price (def the right one in wash bag), oh well at least I got olay gwp :j
now has her .com delivery but doesnt know where to put it :o

I think the putting sets may go through as 0.00 but you are supposed to buy 1 product to get them. however it goes through with the reduced items!!!!!!:T
  • I've just trudged out with my daughter to the supermarket, and I just had to drop into Boots as well lol.

I did very well today - got a couple of full-price bits I wanted, and had a nose round to see if there was anything new reduced. I was really pleased to find the clearance makeup on the end of the shelf was reduced to 50p an item! My daughter and I had a great time sorting through and filling my basket with some No7 nail varnishes, Bourjois eyeshadows, a Barry M Dazzle Dust and a couple of Barry M lip balms, Rimmel lip glosses, a couple of Rimmel nail varnishes, some L'Oreal Glam Shine lip glosses, L'Oreal lip pencils, a 17 lip pencil, a 17 eyeshadow, a Barry M Face & Body Shimmer Powder and even a L'Oreal Color Minerals eyeshadow! All that lot, and I still managed to spend less than £30  My 10-year old daughter is very happy as a few of those bits are going to be hers :)

Those clearance items were £2 or more each when I looked the other day - the SA told me they had been bored today (probably as it was quiet due to the weather) so went through and reduced it all to 50p an item to try to clear it. I'm certainly not complaining :D

I discovered something new, though - the till has a limit to the number of items per transaction. I hit that limit with all my clearance bargains :o The SA said she had heard there was a limit but never thought she would come across it LOL. She was very nice about it, though, and said at least she had a chance to learn what to do if it happens again - next time the branch might be busy. It wouldn't allow my £2 haircare voucher to go through because of the transaction limit, and wouldn't even allow her to void out any items to get it through. She had to do it as a refund after I had paid.

Oh, and I did get a £5 P&P voucher from the ACM, but didn't spend it today.

I also didn't bother trying to earn a No7 GWP, as every one was 31115 478 (daughter helped me check every pile lol). I mentioned this to the SA, so she opened one - yep, it was Pink Lemonade with no voucher. She said they had been told they were all Pink Lemonade, and she was unaware that there were any other colours out there. Looks like I'm not meant to get any other colour or a 250 point voucher :(

No putting sets at all in this branch, either
