So went on a mimilicious Boots trip this morning, even in all this snow. Used 1 winkie to get an Olay wash thing, and 2 x Charles Worthington things. Managed to get enough so I got another winkie.

Went to a different SA to get an Olay wash thing, and another 2 x Charles Worthington things. Anyway, the chimpaneeze SA said, sorry you can't have 2 x Charles Worthington things even though they were at £1.10 each. She said you can only use the voucher on 1 item. I did try arguing with her, but she did not budge at all, and said she did not want to get into trouble. (What a load of bullish, I just used a voucher on 2 x products). At the end of it, she kind of hollered out "You have £125.75 to spend on your card" and everyone (other SA's and customers) started gawping at me like I had just attacked some old lady and run off with her purse! How embarrassing was that. I was like ground swallow me up now! Anyway, I'm thinking of calling SA and complaining about not being allowed to use the voucher against the 2 x products. It says nothing of that sort on the back of the voucher and I am not impressed! Do you think they will let me?

Just read this MSE on another thread. March issue of Glamour is going to have one of those free Benefit Lip Gloss things. Don't know if this is correct, so don't come shouting at me if this is not correct. Hope this helps someone.

Sorry if this is the wrong place, but I seem to remember someone asking about Jelly Belly jelly beans on this thread.

Costco have a £3 off voucher for Kirkland (made by JB) jelly beans - makes it £11.48 for 1.81kg - valid today until 15th Feb.

Yep, it's the new voucher. It's a 2 part voucher - £2 of hair prods and £5 of skincare.

If in doubt CPG updates the first couple of posts regularly. x

About 30 admit it you want me sets going through £1.14 each, but also 3 for 2...so 3 sets for £2.28

Gosh you are lucky where you live, we have never had any of these sets at all where I live. whenever I have asked about them they look at me as if im stupid.

I know someone else mentioned this the other week so thought I'd share. twice now I have come out in sore red patches under my eyes (where my dark cricles normally are  ) and have now eliminated all other culprits except the No7 illuminating eye concealer brush pen thing :( . Just thought I would warn you guys!

I have not had a problem with sensitivity to other eye makeup before but a bit bothered now as it is quite sore. Can anyone recommend a good concealer that's for sensitive skin or that they have found to be gentle?

I have terrible problems with this...YSL made them so sore they bled! ATTRACTIVE!

Dermologica is ok, as is Liz Earle...neither availbale in Boots tho sorry!!

I borrowed Mum's AC for a few weeks in the happy days of pinkies and till spits and it was only questioned once, and then I explained I was buying for Mum. People guess my age to be anything between 40 and 45, so it's not that I look old!!!
I have been allowed to use my Mum's card a couple of times (always mentioned it in advance), but the last time I went in I was told that I wasn't allowed to. This was by someone that had let me use it before.

I guess it's a bit of a grey area. They're obviously happy to let you buy things for other people on your own card if you're not getting a discount, but don't want you to if you are.

Roll on the 10% discount for students too.... I wish!!

The Store Whose Name Shall Not Be Spoken has tons of Charles Worthington and Nicky Clarke products in their sale at the moment, most of them going through at £1 for full sized products. It's store dependent and most of them seem to be putting out small amounts at a time but it's worth a look if you are passing. My DD has a stash of things she bought from there over the last few weeks and they are still putting out new stock every day, the smaller stores seem to have the most stock.

Be afraid Mr B, be very afraid :rotfl:
  • Mimi that's terrible. You should complain to cs about the sa for two reasons, one, she would'nt let you have the two prods and 2, it's not on to shout out how much you have on your card like that. You could get mugged just for your boots points alone.

Yes very bad of the SA - data protection laws should surely cover this!!!!
