Ohh...I stick sausages in mine instead of bacon, then the slugs don't stand out:rotfl: And I like wholegrain mustard, has a bit of bite to it. Never put it on cauliflower though...probably 'cos cauliflower gives me the runs so I don't have it very often:rolleyes::o Come to think of it though, maybe that's 'cos of the slugs rather than the cauliflower:confused:
Anyway, MBE or MEE whatever you are today, stick it in the fridge so that it can finish defrosting slowly & bung it in oven at around 5.30 for a circa. 6pm tea.

If you lend someone a tenner and never see them again, it was probably worth it.

Ideally you would have removed the cauli cheese from the freezer last night and let it defrost slowly in the fridge overnight..... but as you didn't do that and you're trying to defrost the food quickly in a warm room you have increased the risk of bacteria growing on the food.

Now then...... the food police say that you will likely develop the dreaded lurgy by doing this and therefore will be dead by the time Coronation Street starts but as 1, You're a bloke...2, Like most blokes you probably have the constitution of a drain rat.... the chances of you surviving to live another day are quite high.

As it's still quite frozen then I'd leave it as it is then test it again in a couple of hours. As soon as it's defrosted then either cook it or put it in the fridge to keep cool.

Well, it's not that warm in there... it's still got ice on the top!

And you're right about the constitution, I could probably eat the drain rat and get away with it. :D

I'll keep an eye on it then! :T

Thank you for your concern. I ain't dead yet, but there's still time. :D I have just taken it out of the oven, after about 30 minutes at 200°C, to find that the middle is still frozen.

I have let it stand for a bit for the heat to disseminate through....and now it's back in the oven. I am going to eat it regardless of heat, taste, bacteria content, lurgy, whatever. :o

Edit: and no, I haven't got any skewers either. :o

Think of it as a learning curve :D

Just make sure that it's really really well cooked so allow time for it to heat up and remain at that temperature for plenty of time in the vain hope of killing the bacteria which are currently breeding like wildfire within the cauliflour :D

    enjoy  :D

Mmmm....it was smashing, but was a bit hot and I burnt my mouf. :o

I've still got half of it left though...will it be ok if I put it in the fridge overnight, and then back in the oven (will be the third time) for me tea tomorrow? Or will I die?
