Just found full details on the cashback card/special offers for UW customers here. UW do seem to try much harder than the Big 6 to introduce innovations.

HAVE YOU SEEN QUENTIN'S CASHBACK CARD??0 -
I dont have to declare anything if I dont want to. My personal opionion has nothing to do with what company I work with I am not going to advertise anything. So much for this being a friendly forum when you have to be so negative!
As for slagging companies I think every supplier has there problems!1carminestocky wrote: »smokingchills first post on these forums:
This is getting ridiculous. Sorry, matey, you HAVE to declare an interest in every post you make in this forum - especially when you are slagging a rival with anecdotal evidence. Site rules. Let's just see who you work for and let's also see the various customer horror stories/overcharging customers have experienced with that company, shall we?:TSC - Live for today as tomorrow may never come0 -
Well I have received my final bill from UW. Despite supplying final readings and also emailing digital photos of my gas & electricity meter showing the readings they still managed to get it wrong!!!! I am sorry to say I have never come across a company quite like UW. Nigel I'm going to take you up on your offer for assistance, if you can help I will be very grateful. I'll pm you with whatever details you need.0

Yay. You should have taken up his offer ages ago, Dave. It was, after all, a very generous offer. And free.
Edit: Forgot to say, I hope it gets resolved quickly (I'm sure Nigel will sort it for you).Call me Carmine....

I know, typical of me, I don't listen!0 -
I have what should be my final bill from the Utility Warehouse. Despite assurances that the April one will definitely be correct it isn't!!!!! It is based on inaccurate readings for gas and estimated readings for electricity despite me emailing photographs showing the actual readings from both meters.
Unfortunately Nigel hasn't been able to resolve the dispute for me either.
I have now written to Charles Wigoder who is the Chairman of Utility Warehouse. I'm hoping he will be able to resolve this for me.
Surely it isn't too much to ask in getting a correct bill is it?
Now correct me if I am wrong but if the job is done properly from the start then this will also be far more cost effective which will surely mean cheaper prices to customers!!!0 -
It seems the uw bills dispense with accuracy!
See this post regarding the uw "unique billing system":

Well that says it all!!
I have had a variety of excuses why my bill has incorrect readings from:
My previous supplier supplied them
I telephoned them through myself
National Grid have supplied them
We are currently experiencing system problems
Now the first 3 excuses are definitely not true as my previous supplier has confirmed to me the readings they supplied. I certainly didn't supply incorrect meter readings and the National Grid don't supply readings anyway which is what they told me when I contacted them.
This leaves the last excuse "We are currently experiencing system problems". Why on earth haven't UW sorted out their system problems by now is anyones guess.
I just hope Charles Wigoder can sort this fiasco.0
