LOL. Would hate to be held responsible for Quentin having a 'funny turn'
Although he claims to have me on ignore so no worries. Strokes chin. Seriously, if the cashback switching gets impossible, UW will be my first port of call.

Yes, I've read about that, they would appear to have been very naive when first entering the energy market but were 'rescued' by some smart thinking from Wigoder. I'm suspecting whoever was brave enough to buy shares in TP at that time will be reaping the rewards now (the shares dipped below a quid each, they are now approaching £3.40!). This share has been bucking the market trend in spectacular fashion for quite a while now.Call me Carmine....

H.Samuel, Ernest Jones and Leslie Davis have been added to the list of stores accepting the pre payment card. The mind of the bigot is like the pupil of the eye; the more light you pour upon it, the more it will contract.

Hi OldGreyFox
Your friend is right, you do get 5% off everything you buy in store. I have bought a couple of the cheap TV's recently and received the 5% on my bill. We are big Sainsburys customers, so the new card was a great addition to the package.Personally I'm always ready to learn, although I do not always like being taught - Sir Winston Churchill0 -
Great news all round (apart from the 91p a month line rental rise, of course)! Sainsburys' own brand TVs (Red?) seemed incredibly well-priced when I saw them in-store the other day. I think they had a 37" LCD for £299 and the 32" version was £249 (£15 & £12.50 off your UW bill respectively
)! Have to say, this deal is becoming very attractive.

I bought the UMC 19" LCD HD ready with Freeview, DVD and I-Pod dock for £149.99 (£150 off) and also a reduction for the VAT change and the 5% card discount - no brainer!!Personally I'm always ready to learn, although I do not always like being taught - Sir Winston Churchill0
