Somtimes you'll have to refresh. With hundreds of thousands accessing it, it's not going to be a particularly smooth website. And you can hardly call it a rip-off at £1 a night.I had two browser tabs open, to the page marked "Hoxton Hotels £1 deal", which was counting down the minutes to 12:00. At 12:00, all that happened was the timer reset. There was no link, no tab, no button to take you to the calendar or other reservations page. IT SIMPLY DIDN'T WORK. That's a scam in my book. It makes me absolutely determined never to stay in such a cr&&&y hotel even if they give the rooms away. Media hype = BACKFIRE in this case.

well, bit gutted
I know the £1 rooms are hard to get, so when I saw these were gone for the day I wanted, I waint straight back to the home page to try for a £29 - but the button for £29 wouldn't work. Kept coming up 'web page can't be displayed' until eventially the home page changed to say £1 sold out (no surprise there), and then the button did work, but nearly all the dates had sold out.
Oh well, I've been lucky in the past and been twice, so I shouldn't complain. Enjoy yourselves to anyone who got one - its a lovely hotel (especially for £!!)0 -
found some £1 ones in easter hols - but not accepting debit cards as i suspected - what a shame:money:0

Mine did the same but then flicked over to a bookable page at about 45 seconds past 12.
You should probably blame your ISP/browser cache for this rather than the hotel, the hotel's systems coped admirably in the circumstances.0 -
Just gone and booked flights to Brussels business class for me and the family with a redemption insead
as I didn't get this. 0
