Fyi, someone on the Boots thread said they called CS and were told the site will be up soon - but the sale will not be back up as they have had so many problems. Don't know if that's what Boots will really do in the end, but it sounds very plausible.

ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh i hate all this waiting around!!! i wish they would just say a time , its driving me mental.

i dont think my stuff will be there :( happened the last time the sale was up too! how hard does a girl have to try to get 2 x st tropez sets *crys* and its my birthday on saturday so i was hoping for some luck!!!!!!! haha dam

Called up AGAIN.

The woman said the system is still down, so is the website. She said there is no point me calling back later because it will still be down she told me to call back at 8:30am tomorrow morning and i said will it be working then and she said yes. And i told her i have not had a confirmation for one order and she sad it may still be processing or it may be something slowing it down. But when you call the woman that speaks who says the options etc. Well it still says that they are hoping to get it back up later(or something similar). I am logging off now, i will try the website later. But it looks like its not going to work tonight ! Hopefully tomorrow ! Or they going keep fobbing us off?!

Maybe they are hoping we all switch off from .com so that they can put the website back on at a quiet time...

Is their site run from a Sinclair ZX Spectrum or summat? It really is very embarrassing for a major retailer to have such a pathetic and flaky web presence...
