  • Wow a whole reprimand. Thats going to worry him, I don't think. No wonder kids these days don't have a moral compass when the people we enlist to uphold the law cannot do so. No criminal intent! Eyewash.

The Police are spineless vegetables. When they are not penalising speeding motorists and murdering climate camp protesters they do nothing about, in general, real crooks and scammers.

    Shame on them.

No wonder people lose faith in the police.

It would be a complicated case, and cost a lot to run, I guess. Probably too much bother for the CPS. In fact, even if they had taken it on, they'd probably have made a hash of it.

It would have cost a lot for the CPS to do fraud checks on {Removed by Forum team} if they use the same company he uses to fraud check his customers, from memory it was circa £300ish an hour

Clearly another vegetable  the police do NOT notice the word NOT, make the decision regarding charging, this decision is made by the CPS, there is a CPS at all main police stations who the officers must consult with prior to charging, or after hours (for them) sit and wait at the end of a queue on the telephone and ask for a decision as to whether you can charge someone.

The old days of a station or custody Sgt etc making decisions has long gone and now we are faced with weak kneed individuals, some almost straight from university where all they did was get !!!!ed, smoke spliffs and go and watch murders at protests, allegedly, (sorry climbing into your gutter) and now most are in the big wide world and too frightened of their own shadows to give a case a run, and always looking for reasons not too.

On top of this we have the vacant muppet vegatable brigade such as you to contend with, who beleive for some reason we dont want this scum locked away, not that prison is a punishment or deterrent in any way at all, more a university of crime and civil rights with three meals a day and all the amenities and a constant supply of drugs.

Oh and by the way, all the speed vans in my region are staffed by civilians employed by the council and authority safety partnership and soon to be staffed by volunteer members of the community, and then you can get rid once the blue rinse brigade get hold of the speed guns, there are no police officers in this vans, but dont let that get in the way of a good story.

Which is why I worded it as I did, the Police are totally constrained and often virtually helpless unless you are d and d.

The book "Wasting Police Time" is very interesting as a read but there is an element of the Police sitting on their butts and protesting too much AFAIC. I started off reading "Wasting Police Time" feeling outraged as to how the Police were having their hands tied and how all they wanted to do was to get out and nick villains but after a while the book became repetitive and nothing more than a helpless whine from those inside the system who can and should know better.

The Police are very tough and very brave when dealing with motorists, peace protesters and other ordinary every day people who rarely come into contact with them. Put them in front of career criminals and they are spineless. Certainly in Birmingham where I used to live and where I live now in the North. I know. I have seen it time and time again.

Wow Spartacus...is this you ? oh my goodness Mr Big, is it really you whom you are referring to as a career criminal who time and time again has faced spineless police, do tell what happened ? Oh don't say you heard it from a drunk in the pub or possibly one of your novels.

My goodness, you sound like a serial litter dropper ? although having such an interest in taking photo's, nudge nudge, ummm sounds far more dangerous...you really are priceless.

You refer to being housed in Birmingham and now in the north, is this at some ladies pleasure or purely your own ? ; )

Amazing how two people who took totally opposing career paths can enjoy spending time like this, but unfortunately, I dont get paid for having this lovely insight into your strange little world, and yes I know....You pay my wages.

Your first paragraph is rather incoherent. Can I suggest taking more water with it.

Yes I do pay a portion of my rather excessive taxes to your wages, and that is life. I have no input into the rubbish that is recruited these days I just have to pay for it and live with the consequences of that and I doubt when Labour are voted out and the Tories voted in that anything will really change. In the Private sector it is different as they do not suck at the teat of the taxpayer. Of course we all need a Police force to uphold the laws of the land but I think society deserves a far better, progressive, police force than it has. Crikey we have been spoon fed all of these worthless cop dramas over the years, and now we have these fly on the wall shows which have cops chasing chavs around sink estates, and have had a rather benevolent view of the Police as a consequence. However society are coming to a different conclusion based on reality.

Of course I never referred to being housed anywhere. A cheap dig but not unexpected. Of course I was buying both properties with a mortgage and not long to go now til it is paid off. Drop litter. No, not really, I like where I live and want to treat the environment in my area with the respect I want others to treat it with. I just want to live my life not bothering others and have others not bother me.

Spartacus_Mills I'm not sure where you get the opinion that modern day police do not understand the laws. Modern day police are also more than happy to be filmed by the general public http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ImC2orpcA4I
