Well am sure we will find out, it may have been the case they were contacted before hand by the cps after they reviewed the file , so no need to appear.
I have a sneeking feeling that he may be telling the truth......For everthing else there's mastercard.

Although {Removed by Forum team} was due to report back to Essex police on 11 August, I have now been told by a DC Bailey that the police investigation is over. The police concluded that there didn't appear to be any criminal intent to defraud. His parents are considered to have nothing to do with the situation.
However {Removed by Forum team} will be reprimanded over his admitted phoned threats to a Mirror Journalist. {Removed by Forum team} was questioned about making phone threats to another journalist but he has denied this charge.
Whether Essex Trading Standards is continuing its own investigation is not clear so I am waiting for further information from Essex TS; but the lead TS Officer is away until 10 August.
