I had 2 lovely springer spaniels when I went BR and was never asked about them.

    :j :j

  • any pedigree dogs: just refer to them as the dogs, keep pet food cost to the guidleines (£20pcm) and dont mention any expensive insurance plans.
Horses: I am afraid they would be claimed as an asset.

Why mention dogs or their pedigree anyway?:confused: As the old saying goes, "tell the truth, but don't always be telling the truth". In other words, just act dumb.

We had two pedigree Welsh Springer Spaniels at a cost of £500 each, and I'd have shot them with the antique 12bores that I also forgot to mention, and used them as bait when I went fishing with the fishing gear I also forgot about, before I would have been daft enough to include them on a SOA.

Just my take on things.
