I know I can't wait to have a go at making one, glad I had the brainwave of asking, although I thought they might have got a bit mad at me for asking for a sewing pattern on the techie board lol

LOL! I'll bet they were falling over themselves to get their answer in first! :rotfl:
    Numpties...I'm surrounded by them...save me...

Button Necklace: I love this one - http://www.cathkidston.co.uk/p-12858-cath-kidston-long-button-necklace.aspx - but can't find a way to make one online - you would probably have to drill holes in them & then just use links & a fastening.

Hi, know this was posted ages ago but i have found a site showing something which is a similar idea, and very pretty.

    http://www.allaboutjewellerymaking.info/recycled-button-necklace/

i think to do it the way the cath kidston necklace is done you would have to drill the buttons.

Also, sometimes some charity shops sell random bags of buttons (I guess from things which are too poor quality to sell but the buttons are rescuable!)which could be recycled into necklaces.

    :D

she_grinch love your avatar (only just worked out how to get them to show) i use that for my screen saver on my work computer at Christmas time.

Thankyou it is only my chosen avatar, as I absolutely love everything about christmas,I am the opposite of my name and avatar;) but I adore The Grinch and that's where the name comes from.
I am assuming as it has gone very quiet on here recently that everybody is beavering away crafting. I am at the moment cutting out a rag doll and making Easter cardsicon7.gif

I've just finished the gifts for Rusty which you saw.

I made these as a thank you for a very kind lady who sent me some lovely cardmaking supplies.

I think I have other ideas for the bag but it's okay having ideas putting it in to practice is another thing entirely. LOL
