oooh shes so cute, wish my boys were small enough for me to make this but as the dentist has just told me theyve both got all their adult teeth (at 10 and 11!!)

I LOVE the tooth pillow softie - how did they even think of that!

Does anyone have any ideas about my large orchids (see my post on the 15th)? I wondered if the questions it had been missed or if I was on the wrong track.

They are quite sturdy, but a bit big/bulky for a key chain or a bag ornament (would stick out too much), but the brooch with felt idea has given me another idea!

I have already made a pin stick brooch from one, but the glue affected the flower (I was trying a new glue thinking it would be stronger, but I think what happened was the fumes from the glue rather than the glue itself discoloured some of the petals. I can sort that out though).

What your 'felt' idea has triggered though is using some pretty and fine co-ordinating fabric behind the flower that might be easier to fit a fastening to...I will give it some more thought. Ta!:T

Thanks for your reply. The problem is that an orchid is quite deep like a funnel and the back ends in a point, so it is hard to attach something to and still have the flower facing the way you want it too! I will look at how fascinators are made and see if that would work! :T
