See I tried Nicholloils and they told me Fri at the very earliest but probably Sat!!
Ended up getting the 200L from Redon today, £123!!!
Other nice little trick I found from Maxol...they were quoted as one of the cheapest delivering in Belfast, went online to place order, until I got to the stage that asked if you needed a mini tanker or if they needed to come through the house to deliver. £7 extra if you need a mini tanker, £10 extra if they need to come through the house!!!!???
We need delivery through the house but £10 extra would have taken the price way more expensive than loads of others!
Maxol changed the website to that a few months ago.
Not a lot of companies will do through house, for insurance reasons, and I guess this is another Maxol feel they can capitalise on0

My Mum's just received her WFP. Would you suggest buying now or waiting a couple of weeks? The prices seem to be going up a lot at the minute.Official Norn Iron Club Member No. 119

Thought I would share this link which tries to explain the cost of home heating oil and why it seems to still be high despite barrel price being much lower than last year:

No comfort, I know, but well done cheapoil in trying to make it easier for laypersons to make some kind of sense of the situation.butterfly )i(0

Beware Value oils are using a premium rate 0905 phone number(55p a minute)for their phone ordering service.
Surely this should be local number or a freephone number.
As they quote this NI money Saving Site in their recent mailshot lets hope they take heed of this post?0

900L with Value Oils for £372 (ordered online)
BoilerJuice looked cheaper to start with but they stick on a £5 Credit Card surcharge which made them a few quid more expensive.

Boilerjuice £368 today if you pay by debit card.
Is it worth holding out to see if it comes down any further? I'm not in immediate need so could hold out for a few weeks.Member #7 SKI-ers Club
