Can you claim Children's Tax Credit from 2002/3?

  • Hollydays..I think you need to print form, fill it in and send to local Tax office. Don't think you can fill in online.

  • I sent off the form in December, have rung up to see what is happening as am aware of the january deadline, thay have said they cannot tell me when it will be processed and refuse to even confirm they have received the claim form !! Basically I just have to wait past the January deadline & hope for a letter.

    Anybody else had the same experience ?
  • Help- I think I am entitled to this but my husband died in May 2003 and it is asking for his signature nI no which Icant give can anyone help
  • Sorry guys, as Edinburghlass says it's children born from 6th April 1986.

    Children born from 6th April 1985 needed to claim before 31 Jan 2008.

    I am no longer with my partner, so can I still claim as I cannot get him to sign and don't know if his tax code changed that year. tax year 2002/2003 wasa the year we split up. any advice grateful. Thanks
  • Hi just found my P60 For Tax year to 5th April 2003 and my tax code was 461L and my Daughter was born in 96 so does this mean I can claim ?

    Which year do you claim for 2001 or 2002? It says if you claim for both years to read the introductory notes but nothing is mentioned about it in the notes.
