Just to let you all know that I filled out the form.. took 2 mins.. and handed it into my local inland revenue office.. everyone should have some sort of tax office near by. They then date stamped it infront of me and I breathed a sigh of releif. I think most offices are open til 5pm so HURRY UP!

We sorted p60 out and didn't have the tax code to show we had had the money. So filled in a form last night and posted 1st class today. Is it not going to get there on time?

It's the tax office that deal with your current or most recent employer.

Get their phone number from www.hmrc.gov.uk and click on Contact Us.
  • I have 3 children, one was born March 2003.

I sent in my claim in the New Year rang tax office yesterday to check if they had recieved it as hadn't heard anything.

Lady on phone said the assessment had just been done and a cheque on it's way for over £1,100 (couldn't remember the rest of the amount as too excited!)

Won't quite believe it until I get the cheque though! :j
