    thanks for that, I think you're right, everyone just needs to chill and be patient; if we are owed 500 or even double, it's not as if we've had it up to now and it's been taken away - hopefully in time, when the money arrives, it will feel like a bonus!

    We sent ours recorded delivery on 3rd november, we got a letter of acknowlegment last thursday and received a cheque this morning for just over £600, woohoo :rotfl::j

    That's great news but I was under the impression it was either £520 or £1040 :confused: how come you got 600 and something?

    Phoned the Tax office today and they said that a cheque is on the way. Thanks to everyone on this thread in particular mse WENDY :A.

    Going to use the money to pay off one of my credit cards;)
