  • Went to my local MrT's (Chesterfield) on Saturday, I was told that they now have a new policy and that they didn't accept internet coupons (Not even 1!!!). WHen I showed the policy from page 1 of this post I was told that this does not mention anything about internet coupons and therefore they could not accept it.

Does anyone have a more specific policy about internet coupons that they could post on here on send to me.

Or any other ideas other than just trying a different SA next time???

Unfortunately, the more specific policy will not help you...as it states that internet coupons can be taken at the store manager's discretion...therefor if s/he doesn't wish to take them (probably because of local abuse) s/he doesn't have to.
Make sure, though, that the store "policy" has come from the manager her/himself and not just been made up by a till supervisor/checkout operator.

Read through the rest of the posts and it will give you a few more hints/tips.:D

As veggiecar says, if your local has stopped accepting any internet coupons then you are stuck with that decision, assuming it came from the Store Manager.

You can really only query it if you suspect a decision is 'just' the opinion of a Supervisor or cashier (in which case always follow it up instore - first with the Duty manager, then the next Manager up, then the Store Manager). I would never phone Dundee - they are hopeless half the time and don't know the policy anyway, and they have no clout over Store Managers.

My local is the same, no internet mocs now at all even if you buy the item (and I KNOW the decision was made by the Store Manager as I know the staff in there pretty well - and they used to allow any mocs until others abused internet prints big-time). I use the store sometimes for bread & milk, etc., using proper mocs of course - but for bigger shops I have to drive further away to an Extra where they still accept all mocs.

You can't argue with a Store Manager's decision - but by all means raise it as an issue at the CS desk if you feel it WASN'T the SM's decision.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

I'd still keep trying even it if it came from the Manager.
There are usually SA happy to take internet coupons, it's just working out which ones.

Anyone know the policy at the Tesco Reading store, am new to this couponing lark..... but you seem a friendly bunch, so just thought i'd ask!
    Make £10 a day challenge = Aiming for £100 a month
    May - £100.68/£100 (£80.68 cash & £20.00 vouchers)
    June - £121.04/£100 (£91.04 cash & £30.00 vouchers)
    July - £22.11/£100 (£22.11 cash & £0.00 vouchers)
  • I'm going to try again tomorrow using the nice cashier that always accepts my MOCs so I will know for sure if they scan or not.

No problems today with the cashier, everything scanned as normal.

Didn't try the Thermacare as I had no issues with the other MOCs. I hate when cashiers be awkward just for the sake of it.

Just fill in the 8 questions attached to it. Then there is the option to download the coupon on the next page.
    HTH,

Unfortunately my local store is excluded from this offer. But thanks anyway for the info.
