 It seems that since that article appeared in the Mail, my tesco have become coupon watchers, they scrutinise everything and i have twice been marched over to customer services in the last two days to have some of mine checked and they've all turned out fine, i expect when i go in again the same will happen...has something changed that I didn't know about!???!! does anyone have an email to call and find out what the current policy is? this is doing my head in, they make me feel like a damn criminal!!! x

Can you give us more info on which ones they are checking? What are they looking for etc??
:p:p Have a good [STRIKE]Tesc[/STRIKE][STRIKE]Asd[/STRIKE]WHO? day - Err....I still wish Mozzies had a better website even though they are now on MyS! :p:p :rotfl:;)
  • this does do my head in. i also work for tesco. some of my colleagues are unneccessarily cruel to customers, but as long as i don't break the rules and all are in date and scan i don't see the problem with them...loads of the staff do what i do and use them too. i wish they'd just stick to the same policy all the time instead of having a different one for each bloody store!!!!
    Won't buy nuffink without a discount :p
  • It looks like my Tesco has been hit by a lot of coupon fakes.

I had trouble with redeeming coupons just now, saying they only accept coupons if you have bought the product. Of course I thought that they are just being awkward and asked to see the coupon policy. They brought me a folder containing the team briefings and in it, it said to paraphrase "Do not accept any coupons unless the customer has bought the product. Last week we lost over £250 from "unredeemable" (I think it said that) coupons.".

The night staff said that it was in force since last week, but I have used coupons in the morning and afternoon today, and previous days without any issues apart from awkward cashiers.

If this is going to be the long term policy, I will be seriously !!!!ed off.

I've got something to share!! Am so happy!! About a week ago I bought a Muller multipack of lite yoghurts. Opened them this morning and found two coupons for a free pack of Muller Little Stars, worth £1.58. The offer is really well advertised on the packaging, but I never noticed it....

halfprice.gifHALF PRICE Was £2.96 Now £1.48 Price Cut effective on deliveries from Wednesday 25 February - valid from 25/02/2009 until 17/03/2009

so....forget the delivery bit...it will probably be the same price in your store too..... 6 yoghurts for £1.58 (with MOCs of course!) with another £1.58 MOCs back........I think my locals will be sold out......:rotfl:

Of course, I intend to. However, the fact that it is actually official and not just a cashier being awkward does worry me.

Yes, you should be a bit careful now you have been shown the policy change in that store. If the staff there KNOW that you know the policy you can't really risk using mocs in the evening in case you get spotted, IMHO. Depends how well known you are in there?

In my local where they don't take internet prints at all, I daren't use one ever because they KNOW I know their policy. So I wouldn't even put one in the moc pile with a new cashier in case a Supervisor is called and spots it's me & then sees an internet moc. It's too big a risk and sadly I can't play the 'oooh sorry I didn't know' game when my profile in there is sky high.

    Tesco Brighouse trip report

I went in today armed with MOC, all of which were printed from the internet on a BW printer. The young lady cashier asked where they were from, and called a supervisor who took them and dashed off with them for a couple of minutes. He returned and stated that it was ok to scan 1 copy of each unique voucher - unless I`d actually purchased a product, in which case I could scan another voucher. Some vouchers didnt scan - they seemed to be the ones that had less clearly defined bar codes. The girl was most apologetic for the wait, to which I replied no worries, thank you. All in all it saved me £7.80 which paid for a couple of shoulder of pork joints, one of which is in the oven now, yum yum.
Many thanks to BM`s for putting me on to this, today was a good intro for this MOC virgin.

Hi, i went to brighouse (nr hudds?) a few months ago and they said internet coupons were now banned,

Are you saying you were told you can use one of each different coupon?

If so, i will pop in later in the week, as my store one accepts one coupon per shop.

    Hi,

first of all sorry for being slightly off the topic...But I was looking for the printer for printing the coupons and some kids coluring pages....as I don't have the printer at the moment.

Can anyone suggest me a model OR direct me to the site which will help me decide to buying printer please...???

Actually I don't need the photo printing or any other facility in that but just the basic printer which serves my purpose...???

Also if any one can tell me the consumables cost associated with it please...?????

Thanks in advance for any help and suggestions...
