yippy just got the phone.. :smileyhea seached everywhere for leaflets and found them at the tills , make sure you have one when getting r and r happy valantines day mr tesco

it is pay as you go. I guess you could add any sim - but I'm not technical enough to say for definate!!

4 Snickers and 4 Mars box 33p scan 35p but the CS made someone else go and take them all out of the box and put them on the shelf instead. Thats a bit dodgy of Ts as they know they should be cheaper.

Got a phone a Wigan today - all tills had leaflets and there were approx 10,000 under the phone display.

Had to wait an age at till as Electrical bod was on his break. Then CS sent me back to Electrical desk.

As usual with me it all started to go pear shaped.

He said the leaflets were wrong and correct at the time of going to press. I just looked at him daft. then he said it was for `motorlas over £50` I pointed out the nokia & sonys on the back of the leaflet & mentioned that they were seperate to the £10 offer.

Then he went to find his manager who said he could sell them at £39.97 but r&r did not apply.

I gave up and got a refund. rang HO from car & explained it to them. she then offered to ring the store & ring me back.

10 minutes later - success on a plate

she agreed that it was an overcharge and the policy should apply. I was instucted to go back in & collect the goods.

Electrical bod didn`t look very pleased and told me there was no gaurentee because I hadn`t paid for them. I said what nonsense & that I had paid for them just that he`d had to give me my money back.

full marks to HO for resolving this - i`m well chuffed now. :grinheart :T

Got the Motorola phone today from Northallerton Tesco, not sure if they removed all leaflets

All tesco mobile phones are locked to the Tesco Mobile network.

These phones can be unlocked for a fee at certain establishments across the country.

My first post - please be gentle with me!!!
Looked for Motorola phone today but could not find leaflets. Queued up to pay for shopping and would you believe it there was a crumpled leaflet on the floor so quick dash back up the isle to grab a phone! CS were being awkward so called for manager - manager offered me the £10 difference but after quoting policy to him and asking him to ring head office do you know what he said? "I don't want you to have to wait around any longer than you have to, please go to the cafe and a complimentary coffee and drinks for the children whilst I get this sorted" !!!!! Is this the nicest Tesco Manager EVER or what! Anyway, he came back after a while saying yes I could have a refund and to go back to CS when I was ready.
Definate brownie points to this Tescos in South Oxfordshire for their customer service!!
Oh - I got r&r for a leg of lamb too!!

And when you are at customer services picking up the phone and getting refund, don't forget to ask for a bag to recycle your old phone. They either give £5 to charity or £2.50 to charity and 250 bonus clubcard points to you

Surely 49.94 is under £50 so why would you get £10 off? Am I being stupid?
