How about we post some actual information about tesco misprices rather than just "I hate tescos SO MUCH AAARGHA!!!1111"?
It's hardly helpful.0 -
thats all on the misprice thread - only misprices allowed. The discussion here seems to go ok for a while then its back the same old argument - how much is acceptable to get RRed. Maybe there should be a separate thread just for that?!!Auntie Savingsgirl 24/9/06 :j0

Now that would get me off this thread!!!!!!!!!0 -
going off topic slightly, i purchase a b.m lamb joint @5.99 on shelf . got it free cos it scanned at 6.99. Now here is the interseting bit, i went into same shop and looked at these joints again , now they have just put the price up to 6.99 but all the labels now state 5.99 on item , Are we getting conned here in that when a mistake is noticed they just shove the price up to the highest. only got this 1 R&R so dont know if it happens all the time0

On the first pack you bought and got R&R on did it have 5.99 or 6.99 on the pack? Also chances are the new packs scan at 5.99 so its unlikely to be an overcharge (I can't be certain of that though! its an educated guess). Sounds like certain staff onsite couldnt organise a p*** up a brewery.0 -

This happens to all of us wheb we RR. They discard the lower price and put the price up to match the till whether or not the lower price is in date or not....e.g. the V71 phone where offer £39 ended 19 Feb. I for the life of me dont understand the workings of T0 -

Question?
if a SEL price is higher than the scan price, can I still get R&R?
thanks
Ok, so that would be an undercharge. And you want Tesco to refund you what you paid and let you take the product for free because they have charged you less than what they said they would?!?!?!
I thought it was valentines today, not April 1st?0 -
flufff wrote:Got to comment I'm getting a bit annoyed at some peoples greed. One member on here has been round several stores in my vicinity getting numerous phones from each.No wonder we have such problems at cs desk.Whats wrong with just the one for personal use?
Everybody likes a bargain but a select fews greed means only they do.My guessing is they arent probably short of a few bob either so dont really need to.
Ya right.......I didnt get one.I'll just keep using my 5 year old 3210.......enjoy your phones for pittance youll get for them on ebay.
Seems to me your a little bitter that someone beat you to it , espcially as you travelled to several stores looking for a freebie .
Maybe if your unhappy with your current mobile you should buy one .
In my opinion there is no moral high ground when r + r ing with intent to get stuff for free .
Maybe some people do take the p**s but dont make me laugh as to why thats the reason some customer service staff and managers give problems to r+r ers , some of them dont like it cos they hate seeing others get free stuff, thats human nature for you0 -
Must point out that when this board was set up by Martin, I am sure it was not intended to hold the "moral high ground". It was set up for every man for himself and get what you can. Please tell me if I have misunderstood the purpose of Mse.
Thats why Martin writes every week telling us how to screw the banks and go along with all the loopholes.0
