Yesterday I mentioned that I bought new curtains, three sets for the three bedrooms (66 x 54, 66 x 72 and 90 x 72). They are all fully lined with tiebacks. I paid £50 (and a few pence) for all three pairs. DH pulled a face and said he thought it was very expensive. Does anybody else think that's expensive? I feel like returning them now, they're still in the packets.
err no - THREE rooms done for £50:money:

I was looking for 54" drop 66" wide for DS's room and ONE pair was going to be well over that... (and that's your SMALLEST pair!)
and yours are lined with tiebacks! I've had to wait for mine...

what year does he think it is? :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

On a roll - I've done the ironing!

    Posting first reading later ;)

Thanks for all the messages of support over the last few days. It has been an ok day all things considered although it was very quiet customer wise so did drag along. But the boss was not there so it was relaxed. Had some lovely text messages as well.

We are having 'square' cake, as W calls it, otherwise known as battenburg cake with candles on for Daddy :D

My friend is coming round tonight to have dinner with us and so we can catch up so I will not get a lot of chance to post tonight, will look in before bed though.

    Evening everyone

Glad you're bearing up AnW. I had to laugh last night - forgot to post about it this morning - when I went off to bed, I asked DS what he fancied for dinner tonight. He thought a bit and said - how about that lemon chicken you did the other day? So, I bought two lemons from the shop on site this morning and they've sat proud and yellow on my desk all day :D. I might just do some rice with it and colour it with saffron :rotfl:

Reasonable day at week. The time went quickly as I had my head down in some complex stuff. My brain now hurts!

Off to do some flying in the utility area.

Dinner is had, dishes are done. Got loads of uni work to do tonight - more problem solving:rolleyes: WM is nearly done so will sort it out in a minute, going to bath the small, smelly child then dispatch it to bed.

*waves* I've been busy and 09 hasn't been good to me so far. Not done any housework since before Christmas that hasn't been because either there was a smell or no dishes! Got to get back to it, I have a new sofa coming in 10 weeks :j

Going to put brats to bed then will spend an hour doing what I manage to get done. Aiming for

    clear dining table
    dishes
clean pee-y dog cage (dirty little sod he was out too)
    WM load on

and then clean the fish tank.

We were just talking about you yesterday, were your ears burning? Or have you been lurking?
