ooh Pigpen - bet you can't wait...

Have done the kitchen thoroughly, and done my bedroom too - full dust, tidy vacuum and a bit of decluttering - xmas gifts (to me) put away and packaging sorted and disposed of appropriately...I have also vacuumed the landing, and dusted up there (it's very minimal up there - so not exactly challenging) so as I have also vacuumed through the kids bedrooms all upstairs floors have been cleaned. Need to check if the LR was done - my mum does that to help me - she would iron but there never is any :rotfl: (and she is less - err - fussy and picky than me and won't iron what I iron anyway... - but who would?) if so just the dining room and hall/stairs to do for a full house clean:D
Result - checked with DD who has had 2 days off school poorly and LR WAS done yesterday - not that you can tell after a day of DD having a Friends fest - 10 Series to watch - so just DR/hall.:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T ironing to put away and washing to be brought in (blowing AND drying) and ironed.
(Posted that I had done the PC scan and cleaned the bathroom earlier - go me)
Oh AND I have phoned the company whose card I transferred the balance to - because they haven't sent the money to my two cards - have to send copies of statements to claim interest back. They would have paid late charges had I incurred any but I did make a minimum payment separately so I haven't incurred any. It's taken a lot of phoning over two days has this - I am NOT happy especially as I have transferred to this card before without problems. Firm letter coming their way, methinks;)

Confession - pre Flylady I cleaned my long, tiled and cluttered kitchen windowsill (it's where my plants live) once in a blue moon. Since I have been here I have wiped it, and the tiles down, every week. I always think 'I'll do it this week in case I don't have time next week' now. Thank you Pigpen for the lists and you all for encouragement and support.

Anna - if you go advanced (as opposed to quick reply) you get more editing and formatting options - but really not much difference.
Did you find the reindeer flannel instuctions? If not I have them saved!;)

Thanx for that Dusty.... I wont bin it, but i'll look into that.
Kazwookie.....Its only a cheapy handset, would probably cost more to get the new screen than to just buy a new handset.

Gonna see what I can find! Thanx guys!

Johanne that is good news with little Sarah, fingers crossed it continues
Summermoon we've had a couple of screens replaced on phones, cost about £20. Sure one was done at the market in Sunderland....
Pollybear, if the noise from your neighbours is excessive I would mention it, or 2 can play that game, be noisy in the day time!
JustaMum is there no physical activity you like at all. See I don't like most but actually quite enjoy walking, this is helped by having a dog as I couldn't walk alone now I don't think
AnW'sMum, Miss A and little W been thinking of you all today x

Meeting late morning/afternoon, pleased to get my jacket and heals off! I'm so not a dressy up person. DPs walked the dog today, first time in ages which was a help. I've got very little planned for this evening, cooking dinner, DP off to work then pottering I think at best. Actually I should open the OU boxes that arrived yesterday :(

I'm having to rethink studying, last year didn't work, do you think it'd be best to work out how many hours I need to do and pre book them in my diary? I need to make time for it and manage my time better, studying is scheduled to start next week on the calendar so hoping to decide this week what I need to do.

Bother, half hour reading I need to dash and make teas, will catch up with you all later x
One day I might be more organised...........

Yesterday I mentioned that I bought new curtains, three sets for the three bedrooms (66 x 54, 66 x 72 and 90 x 72). They are all fully lined with tiebacks. I paid £50 (and a few pence) for all three pairs. DH pulled a face and said he thought it was very expensive. Does anybody else think that's expensive? I feel like returning them now, they're still in the packets.
