I cannot believe that I have come in from work and found my information needed to fill in the tax form straight away - it was all there in the filing cabinet - I am stunned!!

So why oh why did I put this off since the begining of December - I am useless......

I only need to find confirmation of interest for savings but as I have so very little savings this will only be a few pounds or may even be pence. also need to find tax number. - I might even avoid the fine this year - oh that would be so cool.

I had a very sleepless night as the darn cat is in heat and cries all the time and it is NOT a sound you can ignore. Needless to say this morning first thing I have booked her in to be spayed - she will hate me on Friday - but I am sure she will feel better and I will sleep better! £54 i was not expecting to spend but hey hoo my sleep is worth that.

I have now had a good rest after work so time to crack on with the list - as I ahve found the tax stuff I can concentrate on the kitchen. Best put tea on first to feed the hungry hords that must be lurking upstairs.

Evenin' all - ooh I am shattered (sorry Sarah know it's your word but can I have it for tonight? I so deserve it :rotfl:)
Triker ouchy - hope it heals quickly...you naughty temptress ***chants I do not need any hampers even if they are 75% off***
    Johanne:j fabby news...

Soappie hope you soon have good news

    MOAM
    :o Hope it was happy

Had an observation today on our new skills based learning curriculum - I had 25 7/8 yos making landscapes, in groups, from papier mache (oh the MESS) and cardboard - landscapes suitable for a settlement.
But - they were on task:D working collaboratively:D and they loved it - so much so that we carried on after playtime.
They have to have more papier mache applied, white kitchen towel (a la Art Attack) over that then they will be painted...must remember camera for tomorrow to record what we have done so far...
and I am, not surprisingly, shattered...

Flying - well I wiped ALL the wipeable cloths we cover desks/tables with for art stuff ... and supervised 25 willing helpers tidying the floor..

Mudders - my friend, that's excellent news! :T

Triker and Valli - thanks hun s

But oooooh, I have a dilemma! I've just spotted a really, really, really, really - and then really - interesting permanent, civilian job on the local police website which would be really up my street! Researching and digging up dirt on people - just my forte! Only question is, can I afford to drop my income by two thirds?

    Hmmmmm.

I had sort of planned for a while that if I could stay contracting until this autumn I would then be in a financial situation that would allow me to drop my income, take a permanent job and coast into retirement gracefully. Can I bring that idea forward 6 months? Or should I hang on until the end of this contract before I look just in case budgets come through? (Closing date for this plum job is 4th Feb)

Hmmmm and double hmmmmmmm. What would you do ladies?

But, I must go and fly and stop being maudlin and hopeful on alternate breaths and sort out the kitchen which has somehow got into a seriously disgraceful state in the last 24 hours.
