    Happy Birthday Denise

Soappie - IMHO you should apply, you can always decline it. I think a lot of places are switching contractors off (it is happening on a couple of my clients too) and anything permanent is better than nothing at all. Hugs for you, worrying times.

    Triker - hugs, sounds awful

DW and WM on, just need to bring several bags of logs in from my car so I don't pay to drive them on a 60 mile round trip tomorrow. Must do a HHE as well.

Kitchen now sparkly clean! I've been wiping the hob down each time I've used it so that was an easy job. Also done the washing up (OH can do the stuff from tonight!) and we will put a load of washing in the WM when we go to bed tonight. The other job for tonight is to get some more of the coving up in the newly decorated spare room - last night's attempt went well so fingers crossed....!

well yesterday went well , managed a little bit of decluttering .

what i didn;t say in my last post is that i'm 18 weeks pregnant and suffering from spd/sciatica my painkillers did wonders yesterday but boy have i paid for it today ! been unable to do anything just about managed to do the dishes and recharge the laundry - and my mum took me out for lunch .

so tomorrows plan is to take it easy not overdo it .
    shine my sink ,
    swish the bathroom
    make my bed
vacume cause i didn't do it today and the dog hair will take over
ironing cause i can do that sitting
    recharge the laundry

the bedroom is going to be on hold for the time being

Oooh Jane - becareful with that SPD - ouch, ouch, ouch. Just do little bits when you can. A tidy house isn't worth being in all that pain. Every little bit does help....I hope you're ok xx

ETA - talking of pregnancy, anyone heard from Jennybee???

Let's hope he isn't the first to launch a nuclear missile too!!.. and no.. that would NOT count as decluttering!!

thank you so much for all the vibes!!!! They worked!!!
So pleased, I had a great big smile when I read this.... best start sending those vibes to Soappie and Mumofjusttwo's OH seeing as they seem to be working so well - we'll have all the other threads popping on here with requests soon... :rotfl:

I was going to do the kitchen, but I haven't stopped today and I am really tired again (this catching up on sleep lark is a bit wearing...;) ) So I am going to sit down and relax for a bit and read my book, then another early night I think...

Hugs to those who need them x

Night all, I may pop on before I go to bed, but just in case...:o

    Hello all

came home from work early as wasn't worth going back to the office so did some work here before dinner. Watched Obama which was good, have to admit didn't give it my full attention as colleague phoned and stayed on the phone for quite a while as she is having probs at work and wanted to talk. I walked about another 5-6 miles today at work which is all good - i was hungry tonight though!!

Dinner has been cooked, half washed up (DH doing the rest later) and 2 tubs of cous cous salad for lunches are in the fridge. I've also written all the years dates so far in my personal diary - when i'm away with work, when we're at the theatre or opera etc.

I did the kitchen after a fashion last night and am too tired to do the bedroom tonight so it can wait til the weekend. Plan for tonight includes:

    30 mins wiifit
do sketch of road outside for solicitor
    email photos to solicitor
make lunches love putting things i've done on there, feel like I've achieved something already!
get dh to check my laptop which says wireless is unsecured (it's not) - on work lappy now
pack bag for tomorrow (eary start so need to leave at 7am)
    lay out clothes for tomorrow
    add up points for day

triker - sounds awful, hoping you have some relief soon
    denisenz - happy birthday
soappie - tough one, I think i'd be tempted to go for it anyway, it might be a way in and you could move up pretty quickly once in there. My concern if it was me would be if (with the money being lower) it's too junior for you and would therefore frustrate you? that would be my concern as its partly where i am now! Interview experience won't harm though!

Hmmmm and double hmmmmmmm. What would you do ladies?

Go for it Soappie - you can apply, these things take ages to sort out - you have to be interviewed, then 2nd interview, etc, etc - lots of red tape involved - you probably wouldn't be looking to get an answer until at least march, so at least you would have a fallback if everything did go wrong with budgets - plus plenty of time to turn it down if they go great (which I hope they do for you...;) ) HTH
