Just back from dentist, really upset, I've got the dreaded 'dry socket', there's nothing that can be done.
My dentist said I'll be in this kind of pain for at least 2 weeks.....no painkillers touch it, well none that I've got. She gave me a prescription for stronger ones as she could see how much pain I'm in. She also re dressed and repacked it but I'm gutted as I did everything I was told to aid healing with the extraction.
Going to have to ring my manager because I'm not sure when I'll be back to work, not for next day or so at least.
Huge hugs Triker - I feel so sorry for you, it is such an awful pain when you have tooth ache - I had an operation on my jaw to reset it and had to have both jaws broken, so was in lots of discomfort, but can honestly say it was nowhere near as bad as when I had toothache, so my heart goes out to you... I just found this, not sure if you can get this done or not but it might help (I was looking coz I didn't know what dry socket was)...
The use of analgesics (pain pills), either non-prescription or prescription, is typically not the most effective solution for controlling the pain and discomfort associated with dry sockets. In most cases the best treatment involves a dentist inserting a medicated dressing, daily if needed, into the dry socket. The idea is that this treatment dressing helps to control the level of pain the dental patient experiences until the (delayed) healing process is able to progress and resolve the symptoms of the dry socket.

the massive change in that society in the last 50 years has been phenomenal.. from segregation to the first black president.
Let's hope he isn't the first to launch a nuclear missile too!!.. and no.. that would NOT count as decluttering!!

Evening all,
Just caught up since yesterday afternoon.
Belated happy birthday to moam.
Congratulations to Serena on her new carpet and to her DD on her GCSE result.
Hugs to Triker for her toothache.
Happy anniversary to Gertrurdeanna.
Hi to everyone else and well done for all of your flying.
Have been at work all day today but had a really lovely class - so lovely that I didn't need to tell a single one of them off all day!!! Although it's quite a way to travel, I'd happily go back there if asked again.
On the flying front, I haven't really done anything today, apart from chuck a few bits of paper from my work bag into the recycling, and decluttered a cup of tea. We'll be off to MIL's for dinner tonight (6.30 next door) so will try to convince OH who's just walked in the door to do the washing up with me before we go and we can then wipe down the sides etc in the kitchen after that.
Hope everyone is ok!

Evening all
Boddy - thanks for the vibes - keep 'em coming!
Natty 68 - Finding another one - I don't know but I've started looking. I'll probably have to go to London which wil be horrible . But, there's lots I can turn my hand to so whilst I'm a little down hearted, I'm not despondant yet
AnW'sMum - hugs but well done on being brave.
Triker - I sympathise about the dry socket! Ouch!
Seems things at work are budget orientated. So keep vibes coming please for budgets to be agreed which include me.
Work was again productive - I've actually got lots to do and am setting up a new tool (which will look good on my CV!) so I'm taking the time to learn as much as I can.
But, I need to go finish the CV and then do some flying.
Catch y'all later.I am the leading lady in the movie of my life
